INCREDIBLE! Better than Gotthard. Big punchy keyboards strike high in the mix, excellent mid-tempo AOR tunes reminiscent of Alien's debut, Treat's "Dreamhunter" or Harlot's "Room With a View", awesome production. I'm writing this CD up for a friend's eBay auction description and it's a bit painful because I want it for my own collection!!

Hello everyone. Just heard this cd and I have to say it's too mellow. Great to fall asleep to. As far as the Gotthard likeness goes, I'd agree with them sounding like Gotthard's ballads. Stick with Gotthard and you won't be disappointed.

Forsale is an average mellow band. If you like the harder side of Gotthard stay away from this CD. The only real outstanding track is Stranger In Town. There is some good guitar playing but not enough to make this a true Hard Rock CD. I rate this at best 6/10.

Imagine Gotthard's debut without the guitarist, without the killer punch, with keyboards, and basically without all the elements that made Gotthard a great hard rock band. This is nice AOR, but it just plods along harmlessly, containing a few nice AOR tracks along the way, before ending without really making a dent in your listening hopes. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice AOR disc - very nice at times, but it really ain't that great... IMO. Recent Gotthard are much better.

Looking for that album only for the "UB 40-like" song "Carry on" (It's the only song I know of this album). Don't get me wrong --it's a pure melodic rock song but with that happy reaggy feel to it. Sadly, I didn't buy that album when I recently saw it for 35 Euro new. I had to think twice --and then it was ..gone. & rocky: That were times ..for 18 Euro. I don't know..

"Stranger in Town" es mi favorita junto a "Call my Name" o "Night Spell". En "Run For Life" suena a grupo antiguo, mucha influencia de los ´70s. 8/10

Just like someone already mentioned it on the forum-THIS IS NOT GOTTHARD. I bet u anything most people compare FORSALE to GOTTHARD because of the same country of origin and the fact that the vocalist and guitarist performed in both bands, completely forgetting that the two play different styles. But it doesn;t mena that FORSALE is an average release-this is an manificent kerboard driven AOR that will appeal to fans of first Skagarack, Alien, Treat, etc...I am not sure of the information on aorhe

This is really definition of AOR They sound so american you would never believe they hail from the Continent. Very good musicianship, melodies , harmonies and so on . but they are too cliche to me. All in all A DECENT ALBUM

Steve Lee died recently..a great vocalist has left us ...this band was a previews one he had before joinning the mighty Gotthard...listeneable Hard Rock/AOR,not the best album ever done by Lee but obviously it was the beginning of his magnificent career that took off after this band..."Only Love" & "No Time No Chance"(AOR) are pleasant ones to the ears,"Rollin' On" rocks good,"Night Spell" is an excellent one,"Call My Name" is a pretty soft song and "So Long" is a solid short instrumental...as a collector's item this is very interesting to have...89/100

I didn't even realise it was Steve Lee singing when I heard this as the vocals, while very good didn't have the same power that he showed in Gotthard. The music has an American AOR feel to it with a couple of harder rocking tracks thrown in for good measure. It was never going to be in the same league as Gotthard (but then what is ?)but stands up pretty well on it's own merits. Highlights are "Carry on", "Rollin' on" & " Run for life".

I agree. Very average album. Sure it has some cool keyboards and some nice riffs here and there but that's it. Production is bad, just listen to the drum sound - it sounds more like a hammer beating on a metal plate. Even Steve Lee sounds annoying at times.

for sure steve lee (rip) and leo leoni since this very very weak record have made lot of progress.
