This is one of the best albums I have ever heard, too bad this was never released on cd, only cassettes, so you are wasting your time trying to find the cd. But if dog gets ahold of the band, tell them to reissue it on cd.

Scary fact: That girl is almost 20 years older today, and probably not good looking at all... Next victim for Metal Sludge's 20 questions maybe?

From: z4roxx Date: January 29, 2005 at 11:42

I found a CD with this particular Vice on it!! (I thought it was the German band at first). It's one of those Album Network Tune-Up CDs... Unsigned Bands Vol.3. The Vice song 'Feelin' Lonely' reminds me of Dokken/Vandenberg. Cool track!

From: Studboy Date: March 10, 2005 at 18:47
Excellent hard edged AOR. Great keyboards, guitars and vocals, its got it all. Reminded me of a cross between Journey and Heavy Pettin if you can imagine that.

Boy I would love to find an original copy of this. Great music, similar to XYZ's Hungry.

WOW! Dog2020 is right! This CD really is as good as the cover suggests it is. Completely took me by surprise. I was expecting second rate glam rock, instead I got a CD that instantly reminded me of Emergency's 'Boys will be boys'. This is great heavy rock, awesome sound!!! This one NEEDS to be re-issued, and if there's a 2nd album recorded, that must be released too. This is great melodic hard rock. My fave is probably 'You're so far away'. Highly recommended.

This is an awesome melodic hard rock cd from Vice(killer cover too!).The songs are excellent with Stranded in Your Shadow,Alone in the Night,Holdin' On, Mixed Emotions,You Drive Me Crazy, Here to Rock, Hot...Just Lookin'at You and Feelin' Lonely. How about releasing more unreleased material.I hope the Reunion DVD comes out soon!! Hey how about releasing the Vice live 1985 show with Chris Impellitteri for the fans out there. No use hanging on to it, your're not going to get RICH on it. Rated 9/10.

From: altesanz Date: November 7, 2007 at 7:31

Decent album with solid songs...voice ala Tony Mills(Shy/TNT)at certain songs...the highlights are "Alone In The Night","You Are So Far Away"(AOR),"You Drive Me Crazy" & "We're Here To Rock"(excellent)...83/100

From: MrMetal Date: February 5, 2014 at 7:19
The lineup on this 1987 LP was: Billy Ian (V), Gary Smith (g/k), Jim Michaels (g), Bryan Allen (b), & Jeff Field (d). The ORIGINAL lineup on their first Demo from 1985 was: Rob Rock (v), Chris Impellitteri (g), Gary Smith (g/k), Jan Dudek (b), & Jay Martin (d). Rob Rock left to join Rudo Sarzo with M.A.R.S. shortly after the VICE Demo & Chris Impellitteri would also be replaced by Jay Johnston. But once Rob left,Jay Johnston & Jay Martin would leave as well. Gary Smith would then recruit a whole new cast of musicians for this LP (the ones I have listed above). So the only member remaining from their 1985 Demo here was Gary Smith on guitars/keys. Rob Rock and Chris Impellitteri were NOT on this LP.
