While I thoroughly enjoyed his first album, this was a great album. A lot of diversity, yet it stayed together. I was really impressed with tracks 1,2,5,7,10,11 & 14. Still a very good album by a talented and under-rated guitarist. |

I wasn't thrilled with his first solo album, and I was even less thrilled with this one. One solid hour of dull, lifeless music. He's capable of writing much better material. |

I think this is one of Rik Emmett's best solo albums. There might be 2 or 3 "filler tunes" on this one, but all in all it's a very respectable effort by the man! One thing that I like about Rik compared to most of the other rockers that I've listened to over the years is that he is talented enough to play different genres of music. And he's respected enough from his Triumph days to open up some of us hardcore rockers to some of those other genres. |

I'm pretty open to different genres of music, but this one just did nothing for me. The talent's there, no denying that, but the fire Rik had in Triumph just isn't here. Not bad... just boring. |

Good rock album made by a respectable guitarrist. Great production, good voice and some great chorus. "Heaven In Your Heart" "Dig a Little Deeper" "Let Love Conquer All"(great quiet songs), "Bang On" "Can't Lie to Myself". "lickity Bit" & "Transition" are the instrumentals, ok. There are some blues songs like "Out of the Blue" amongst others. Btw, Some fillers at the end. "Saved By Love" & "Big Lie" are live songs and are the bonus tracks, Good bonus!. 8/10 |

This one is softer than his debut but is still a good album."Dig A Little Deeper" is one of those songs that you can listen over and over and over again and never get bored of that ballad!!!."Bang On" is also a good track and more in the line of his debut album...the rest as i said is more laid back...sit and enjoy anyway!!!.85/100 |

Ahaha 76/100...This artist needs no comments or special recommendations, just blues/aor poetry.I think this one and the debut are both awesome, nothin'else. |
