| Seven years is a long time between albums, especially when it is only your second. Was it worth the wait? Yeah. I have a feeling that many of the tracks have been tried and honed to perfection while on the road. While the first album had that strong classic rock vibe, this one has one foot firmly planted in the 80s. Harmony vocals, restrained but lush production, hooks to tempt (pun intended) the most discerning fan. Check out Burn Me Down and Golden Tongue as standout tracks but really there ain't no filler to be found. I wish Amazon hadn't stuffed up my order cause I could have been enjoying this album for months already. Confidently among the best of 2023. Rated A to A+.
