I used to play guitar with a couple of these guys (Dan Fowler and Dean Fowler) in the mid 80s in Montgomery, AL. I'd love the hear from them. rob@pvsys.com

A great CD doesn't need to be an expensive one! Here's one that will rock your socks off without rockin your wallet. Every bargain bin knows this CD and it's powerfully executed hard rock with that chunky wall of sound that I have yet to be able to resist. If you like Trixter, Trouble Tribe, Ratt, Roxy Blue... don't let the cover or the year (1993) scare you away. No alternative, no grunge, no excuses... buy this!!!

From: JLPRocks Date: April 24, 2003 at 18:06
Yep...came out at just the WRONG time. Too bad though....overlooked, but still a good hard rock record with some balls. On a side note....the guitar player is now in The Exies garnering his 7.5 minutes of fame.......

Hey Jimbo...who told you that. Love ya!

From: Gar Date: June 3, 2003 at 17:05
Gotta agree with all the other posters on this. Great stuff! The first 2 songs were pretty average, but then track #3 "Cryin'" started and I realized that this was gonna be a keeper. Recommended.

Picked this one up for 1 cent + s/h off of Ebay, and damn it rocks! "Cryin", "To Know You", and "Outta Love" are awesome! Why didn't I hear about these guys in '93? I guess they got lost in amongst the grunge crap.Anyway, EXCELLENT melodic rock cd!

From: John Date: September 29, 2003 at 13:54
'Cryin' is awesome. I hear a lot of Stevie Rachelle in the vocals. Is it just me? 8/10.

From: erik Date: March 5, 2004 at 14:26
Its a g.. da.. shame these guys have not been giving the chance/money/oppertunity to put out another disc. a great first release. dont you just hate grunge. they killed talented bands like this. Be sure though to get a hold of this album. GREAT SONGS ! Excellent melodic rock to be heard on this one.

From: verona1216 Date: March 8, 2004 at 0:12
These guys kicked ass all over Memphis, and really had the scene going back then,(I went to almost all their shows !), but like the others said too bad "grunge" was born and this band was lost in the shuffle, BUY IT !! you won't be mad that you did !

From: Gabriel Alves Date: June 17, 2004 at 5:27
It´s by far one of the best north-american hard rock band. They have catchy songs, heavy-oriented guitar sounds and melodies all over the cd. It´s difficult to pick up a highlight tune here. All songs really kick ass. It´s sad that bands like these did not play in Brazil to show how hard rock songs must be played, and it´s also sad to see how manipulated the north-american people are!! How come bands like these ended to give place to grunge? Only because grunge became a fashion ?

From: Blue Tequila Date: July 9, 2004 at 8:29
I picked this one up based on the comments here and after hearing it I agree that this is a great release from an unknown band. The only problem I have with it is the lead singer sounds to me like "Weird Al" Yankovic on more than one occasion. It's easy to look past however, especially when the songwriting and production on this album is so strong. This is something definitely worth picking up, and it won't cost a lot to do so.

From: Dean Fowler Date: August 28, 2004 at 16:04
hey everyone! i'm the former gutiarist for disturbance and i would love to hear from old friends. e-mail me at: deananim@earthlink.net. thanks for all the kind words! later

From: Artie Date: September 8, 2004 at 10:24
Yes, the lead singer definitely sounds like Weird Al Yankovic, especially in the higher octave ranges. Not that that's a bad thing mind you. Just something I happened to notice. But as for the album, there's nothing to say that hasn't been said already. It's just great hard rock. I was fortunate enough to get it off WinMX, as I had with a lot of other hard-to-find hard rock albums. And nice of you to drop by Dean.

From: Geoff Date: September 8, 2004 at 20:52
Wow, awesome responce for these guys. Good on 'em. Like everyone else here says, I picked this up for a couple of dollars on ebay and it was well worth it. Very cool hard rock. Very confident sounding band with some awesome songs, great musicianship. I really dig the first track, but it's overall a very good CD.

From: Dan Fowler Date: December 16, 2004 at 22:16
Holy shit!! All of you ROCK! I played drums in Disturbance, those years were a lot of fun. Thank you for all of the kind words, I had no idea anyone even listened to us?!?! I'm still performing, recording, and enjoying music....If you're interested check out this site: www.hyalineband.com Take care, Dan

From: Date: March 8, 2005 at 13:46
First thing I thought of was Weird Al Yankovic singing.

From: headbanger4life Date: May 18, 2006 at 4:16
Yep, this sure is one of those cds you can find cheap and it's worth the price. Any fan of mainstream 80's hard rock will enjoy this one. I really like 'Cryin' and 'Best of My Love'. They were the stand out tracks for me.

From: jason Date: August 31, 2006 at 4:48
Hi,This disc is a shit that does not cost what I have paid, there is the one who says that this better that child's play, this he, has not listened child's play in his life. Disturbance is alone advisable for smokers.

From: BIG-TIME Date: November 26, 2006 at 18:45
I really dont like this CD, it's not crap but it just dosent grab me. The raving's on about this disc is abit to much the vocal's are a bit lame and dont hold, the music hmmmm not sure but like I said it doesnt grap me. Go for Saints and Sinners, Mud Slick, or Victory these are pure class...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 7, 2007 at 14:04
Average hard rock album...more of the same...not good, not bad....what else to say...

From: juan carlos Date: December 10, 2007 at 22:06

From: kipvanpearcy Date: January 13, 2008 at 14:52
Great party rock, with a decent production. Typical 80's band, with talent. Recommended!

From: ryerordstar Date: March 6, 2008 at 13:03
Good band with some really cool songs, came out a little too late to get the recognition they deserved. My first thought was that Weird Al was their lead singer also, too funny.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: January 2, 2010 at 10:16
This CD didn't cause so much as a ripple in the hard rock pond of the grunge-dominated early 90s...and quite frankly, I understand why. It's not bad, but aside from a song or two, there's nothing here that really makes you sit up and go "Wowzer!" Props where props are due, however, the production sounds superb, if a bit on the "clean" side. Thankfully, this release can be purchased for pennies, so even if doesn't give your ears an auditory orgasm, you're still getting some decent hard rock for next to nothing. That said, I can think of far better bands to rock your night with.

From: Delbert Date: January 2, 2010 at 14:36
In my opinion, they have a sound similar to RATT and WILDSIDE. This is a very underrated band with a cool sound, nothing innovative or remarkable but enjoyable. As Mark said, it can be found cheap, so why not get it........Big clean guitars, catchy hooks, and plenty of stacked backing vocals; gotta be worth the listen.

From: PepeLopez Date: January 23, 2011 at 16:58
I was the drum tech for these guys back in the day. One of the best bands of the era hands down. Shitty timing and the arrival of Kurt Cobain killed their chances for success. I saw them live more than anyone else on earth outside the band. They were the real deal. Extremely tallented guns. Cryin, Best of my love, and Seasons are my favorites...but every song on the album is great. I also have all the songs that were slated to be on the second record. get this album. You wont be dissapointed.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 1, 2011 at 22:19
Oh my God...how the hell could i have said that this is an average release(2007 comment)...what i was thinking of???... ...actually this album is packed with great songs!!!..."No More" & "Resolution" are a couple of songs,"Cryin'" amazing song,"To Know You" whatta solid ballad!,"We Come Out At Night" a nice bluesy rock track & "New York City" has an excellent vibe...to make mistakes is human and i accept i did it...now is time to mend..this album rocks!.93/100

From: andi Date: October 21, 2011 at 6:59
