i really dig this album. catchy songs, great musicianship ... it's not perfect, but it's definitely worth your picking up!

Danny took a lot of stick for the production on this album but screw that, i'll take melody any day of the week. Bombastic keyboards with catchy no nonsense chorus's...this is melodic rock.

Hard AOR bastante cañerillo,el tio le pone ganas e interes pero con esa producción no vamos a ningun lado.Asi que señor Danni ahorra un poquito y luego graba todo lo que quieras que te veo con ganas.

The songs speak for themselves. Production not withstanding - for one guy to pull most of this off himself? Awesome. Pick up the disc, and wait for the follow up, "Danziland." Whoa.

From: Rycheage Date: June 15, 2003 at 2:10
The amazing thing about this album is that Danny practically plays every instrument on every track. More amazingly - it comes together pretty damn well.Overall the album is very enjoyable and will appeal to those who like their sound big and made for stadiums. This style of hard hitting arena rock, while produced in and influenced by the USA, is also heavily European flavored. Fans of Euro rock should check this out.

I really like how people such as Rycheage, M.Allen and Koogles to name a few, put in the extra effort to give everyone a good idea of what some bands sound like.

Look at the comments from Rycheage. Hits the nail. Nothing to add. Excellent album. Just got his second release. Danziland. Had such high expactations. And man dis Danni live up to it. An even better follow up ! This is a great album. No filler to be found. I love the legnth of the songs. There is rock, more melodic and great ballads to be found on this album. Get it !

This one gets more action in my car than my ex girlfriend did a few months ago. Brilliant release. To give you a clear picture, take the massive power, hair metal kick of SAINTS & SINNERS' debut, add the melodic AOR finesse of MISHA CALVIN (Evolution), throw in a teaspoon of Odyseey-era Malmsteen, and you have a good idea where this one is headed. Honestly, this one is a perfect mix of SAINTS & SINNERS and, MISHA CALVIN'... kickin', AOR'flavored power-glam! 9/10!

This is much better than his second CD and is really a very nice collection of melodic hard rock. Definately recommended as there are very few poor tracks here.

great cd 89/100 i'am totally agree with the Rycheage's comments and the EURO influences are obvious like if the guy was born in SWEDEN or UK DANNY DANZI is a good singer but an awesome guitar player in a nice late 80's TRADITION ! EURO like MELODIC/HAIR/STADIUM/PARTY METAL 89/100

By-the-numbers melodic rock. Nothing really outstanding or memorable here. Danny plays a good guitar (very clean and rife with all the requisite slick rock shit), but then so do a billion other blokes. He's clearly very talented, considering the musical contributions he makes to the album (and even sings fairly well, though not outstanding). A few cool riffs and melodies here and there, but otherwise the songs touch on all the usual rock cliches. Something of a musical throwback, considering its production date (late '90s) -- it would've had more of a home had it come out ten years earlier. Don't get me wrong -- it's all done very well, just nothing very distinct. Once through is enough for me. 65/100
