Disappointing second release from Danny ! After all these years of waiting I expected a far stronger release than this clichéd album. Some good songs, but some very bad ones too. No, can't recommend this at all !

From: [Ita]Andrea Date: March 18, 2004 at 12:43
I do agree with AOR freaky, there are really few reasons to buy this album. Wasted years...

From: rockoz Date: March 19, 2004 at 0:48
thats the biggest load of b.s ever, danny danzi's danzilajnd is his best ever and of the years best releases, what on have have you two been smoking?

From: [Ita]Andrea Date: March 19, 2004 at 6:17
Dear rockoz, don't know what u are used to listen to, but production is poor and songwriting is really average. Guitar parts are good, but it's not enough to be a guitar-hero to make a great album. More, Danny released only two albums, so "his best album ever"...eheheh!!!

From: Snakeryder Date: April 6, 2004 at 1:30
People! Danny helped me master the Snakeryder D.O.A. CD, and I thank him for that! Understand this! You are comparing DanziLand which is on an Inde-label without a producer & low budget, to a Record that is on a Major label with a million dollar budget & a mega producer! A producer often makes suggestions on Song arrangement, lyrical content, musical direction & all else. A producer brings an artist to the next level! So next time you make judgment on an ARTIST, keep these facts in mind! Peace,

OK, here's my take of Danziland! The F--in album just plain & simple, ROCKS!!! Great production, great songs, great musicianship, amazing guitar playing, TIGHT, TIGHT, TIGHT everything! F--k the dumb sh-t! BUY THIS CD! NEH Records are just as quick getting the disc to you, as Danny is on the fret board! WELL, MAYBE NOT AS FAST! LOL AJ FedZ SNAKERYDER... PS: Thank you Danny for adding Snakeryder to the Dannziland Thank U's

AJ, I have the Danziland album and I am trying real hard to get into this album. I'm sorry its just to wimpy for my taste. The best part of the CD is the intro and its down hill from there. I think the guitar playing is excellent, but I don't think the songs are great. Some are good, some are ok and some just plain SUCK. Maybe you're too close to your friend and have a biased opinion.

From: Roxas Date: January 19, 2005 at 21:18
I loved the debut and have waited a long time for this one. I have it awhile now and can make a fair judgement. The production and guitar paying is good. Most of the songs are boring to me. However the good songs are woth the price of the album alone. Just a Matter of Time, All or Nothing and Let it Go are world class.....Tremedous examples of Melodic rock. The rest are crap.

From: gener8tr Date: February 2, 2005 at 10:02
All "show," no "go." This CD was over-hyped to the point of ridiculous... $15.00 is better spent elsewhere.

From: oliver Date: February 2, 2005 at 10:21
when getting a very good review at melodicrock.com i bought this one. i was disappointed, no catchy tunes. sold it to a friend. good to see that a lot of guys see that the same way. 6/10

From: Geoff Date: February 3, 2005 at 5:12
Good to see we're in agreeance here. I admire what Danny is doing and think this album is rock solid musically, but the songs just don't cut it. Most of them just sound like hard rock filler to me... though they're well played hard rock filler. 'Eternity' is a sensational track, but sits clearly alone as far as good tracks go. Killer riff. Shame, and i hope he does better next time.

From: Erik Date: February 3, 2005 at 6:42
Sure it helps when there is a great production behind to back up the songs but when a song is good its good. And no million dollar production can make a bad song sound good. And vice versa. And the songs here clearly dont cut it. Eternity, Just a matter of time and All or nothing are great melodic rock songs but the rest are clear fillers. His first release is stunning for a debut but this release fails to deliver in a big way. 5/10.

From: gener8tr Date: May 4, 2005 at 15:44
Something is missing here??? There aren't any "stand-out" tracks... Everything is just too "vanilla," for my taste.

From: jmikep Date: June 30, 2006 at 9:37
I liked it better than his first album, a lot better. I only found one redeemin track there, but Danziland kept me listening for a few days before I moved on to something else. While none of the songs are stand-outs, they are easy to listen to, and mostly entertaining. I couldn't say that about the first album. Here's hoping the next one will be an even bigger improvement, because that's likely to be Mr. Danzi's last chance for this listener.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: September 16, 2007 at 3:51
JUST OK CD VERY DISAPPOINTING !70/100 "lost in time"was so great ! Yes DANNY DANZI is still a good GUITAR PLAYER but the MAGIC is gone ! and the songwriting is average ( Hope for a new record in the"lost in time" quality standards one of this days !70/100 buy "lost in time" NOW killer CD

From: Rycheage Date: September 16, 2007 at 13:00
Very disappointing release. The songs are just not cohesive and the music lacks a whole lot of punch. It seems like his head just wasn't in this one. Avoid this mess.
