I didn't like this one quite as well as the first one. I was disappointed overall in this effort.

From: Kim Date: August 11, 2002 at 11:00
Well TIM I really like this one. DAD are huge over here, and this one is perhaps not as good as No Fuel. But close to. Bad Craziness, Riskin it All, I wont Cut My Hair, and Grow or Pay, are classice here. Ive seen them live tons of times, as well as I have several bootlegs by them. They are the Ultimate live band. Some of theyr latest releases are NOT glam/heavy but some kind of Rock`n Roll. BUT live I tell you they kick some serious nuts.

From: TIM Date: August 11, 2002 at 11:07
Kim, No Fuel is among my favorites- I just didn't feel the same about this one.

From: Kim Date: August 11, 2002 at 12:37
Thats cool TIM. That just proves that youre. DEAF..........No, just joking. Taste is indivudual. By the way. Today at work I saw Mike Monroe and Andy McCoy........Damn they look like two pairs of ``Worn out shoes`` Especially McCoy. If I ever send you any cd`s from here, I`ll send you a bootleg from one of their shows. Damn DAD rocks live. They beat every band I have ever seen. Can you recommend any new bands. Not listed on Heavyharmonies yet.??

From: TIM Date: August 11, 2002 at 13:25
Give me a few weeks Kim. I submitted a ton of stuff here not listed yet but I've got several high dollar items coming. Most of my newer items that I do have I've loaned to a friend and haven't gotten to listen to thoroughly yet. I remember liking Frankee Dee and Kidd Nasty- I think. I actually liked Schoolboy Crush but good luck finding it. I'm trying to get Frontrunner's debut and Glorious Bankrobbers S/T. I'd recommend Roko S/T and Darxon- Shout if you haven't heard them.

From: TIM Date: August 12, 2002 at 23:54
Hey Kim, I think you'd probably like Chosen- The Alternative. The are like Logan, Blue Ruin, or Cinderella's heavier material.

From: TIM Date: August 12, 2002 at 23:58
There's a copy of it right now on Ebay with a buy it now. If you like the bands I listed or Skin N Bones and Dirty Blonde then you'd probably like it.

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: September 23, 2002 at 2:33
Check out their 2000 release 'Everything Glows'. Incredibly laid back and cool. This one has its moments with Laugh and a Half, Grow or Pay, Day of Wrong Moves, and D-Law, to name a few.

From: Metalhead Date: March 7, 2003 at 14:32
High octane rock & roll! I waited for a weak track but there wasn't any. One of my best tape (I only have this on tape). If their first is better then that must be a dynamite?

From: Great Dane Date: March 7, 2003 at 18:46
What you refer to their first is their 2-3 I think. Its high octane gasoline fuel hard rock. They have relased atleast 12 albums. Check www.d-a-d.dk/ It har loads of mp3's and video clips. Cool site

From: Date: March 7, 2003 at 18:50
http://www.d-a-d.dk/ Go to the Videography. Cool videos from the 80's

From: FM Date: March 17, 2003 at 2:15
I like this record! I own the vinyl and I spin it quite often. Bluesy, rock'n'roll-ish hard rock with cool guitar work and cool vocals. What else do you need? Bad Crazyness, Day of Wrong Moves, Down That Dusty 3rd World Road, Riskin' it All are great songs. Definitely good.

From: SPOTLIGHT Date: May 12, 2003 at 1:54
I thought this album was cool. But, the lyrics could've been a tad better. No, scratch TAD....A LOT better!

From: Scandinavia Date: June 28, 2003 at 16:33
In my opinion this is their best album ever...A real rock'n'roller! Take any track and it'll blow you away (except the ballads). This is very original hardrock with the typical DAD humour. It has a lot of international potential...I mean, you can't hear it's a Danish band at all. Very recommended! The intro to 'Bad Craziness' (Heavy version of Daytripper) is amazing. Check out the track: 'Down that dusty...' Different but still cool! 'Grow or pay' is pretty unique too...

From: Scandinavia Date: June 28, 2003 at 16:40
By the way you should check out the video clip to 'Bad Craziness' if you can get your hands on it...Very unique video! A doll version of the band performing while thrashing up a living room...Very funny watching it...

From: Blue Tequila Date: June 28, 2003 at 22:04
This is a good album but it seems to be missing something. Not quite the same energy as No Fuel. Bad Craziness was meant to be the 'hit single' off it (I love the Beatlesque beginning) but that never happened. First 4 tracks are smokin', then the album slows down. It still finds it's way into my cd player every so often.

From: RR-Finland Date: September 4, 2003 at 6:32
Best D:A ever. So good lyrics and this band gets me always on good mood. I bet these guys did have a hellofagood time in studio! Guys made a song about their hairs, but what happened..!!?? Anyways, this record was their last, before the music turned a little bit too serious and really big 'thing' was losted somewhere! If you wanna listen a good (and not that serious) D:A, what's not listed in here, go get their two first albums: Call Of The Wild and D:A Draws A Circle.

From: Metal Pete Date: January 2, 2004 at 12:06
It's a tossup between this one and 'no Fuel' for my favorite D.A.D. record. Lately, this one gets more listens! a GREAT album, all the way through! 'Laff n 1/2' is a classic ballad.

From: Mike Date: April 20, 2004 at 8:18
Good, though not as great as 'No Fuel...' This one is basically the obvious follow up to 'No Fuel...' but still features some really good songs (Bad Craziness, D-Law, Down That Dusty 3rd World Road, Smart Boy, A Laugh And 1/2...) Just not as *great*, that's all

From: CC Date: June 1, 2004 at 13:39
Just picked up their first three albums a week or so ago & believe me this is far superior to those albums! Ok,so it does lack the spark of No fuel, but its always hard to follow up such a masterpiece. Strangely enuff the song 'I wont cut my hair' was originally on the album 'Draws a circle'. I have submitted those three albums so hopefully they will be on here soon!

From: Big Papa K Date: July 18, 2004 at 14:13
While no song on here is as good as 'Sleeping My Day Away' from the last album, I think this one has more tracks that rise above average than the last one. 'D Law' and 'Day Of Wrong Moves' are my favorites. 7/10

From: Rycheage Date: November 21, 2004 at 19:41
This has more continuity than 'No Fuel For The Pilgrims' although there is no song here that is better than 'Sleeping My Day Away'. 'Day Of Wrong Moves' and 'Riskin' It All' are my faves on a pretty good album. Worth getting.

From: Geoff Date: March 1, 2005 at 6:23
'Grow or pay' is excellent commercial hard rock and a beautiful melodic mid-tempo track (With great lyrics) and 'Laugh n' a half' is a great ballad. A solid album by these guys with obigatory filler. Great lyrics though.

From: Hellcat Date: March 2, 2005 at 16:26
The Danes know how to rock !! it' s a 'In your face' album !!

From: Aussie Dave Date: March 22, 2005 at 20:49
I feel this album had a few filler tracks on here, which No Fuel didn't have. A pretty good follow up to a classic though! Bad Craziness, Smart Boy Can't Tell Ya and Rock n Rock Radar are fantastic rock songs, while Laugh N A 1/2 is a nice ballad to end the album on. Overall, a pretty solid release from the danish masters! 8/10....

From: Big Mike Date: April 10, 2005 at 20:08
Certainly one of D-A-D's better albums. The first 3 tracks and grow or pay are the highlights for me. there is some filler stuff but the better tracks make it value.

From: Konwar Date: July 30, 2005 at 12:54
Рекомендую для фэнов AC/DC!

From: Beikes Date: November 15, 2005 at 11:20
Surely this is the perfect effort by DAD. Maybe not that authentic and mindblowing fresh as 'No Fuel..', but this record is very consistent, not one mediocre song on this one. While the former had some fillers, it also had the greatest DAD tunes ever, but this album is just packed with goodies! Maybe the best release of '92 - 10/10

From: Helix Date: November 10, 2006 at 21:24
No matter what I read up above this cd kicks ass.And to think we could have lost this great cd to the grunge era. People should be thankful this cd exsist. People go on how they miss the 80's good thing this band is good enough to past the 80's and into the 2000's. This cd sticks out with some of the best rock ever done, glad its in my collection.

From: hair metal again Date: January 28, 2011 at 4:08
good hard rock release by DAD ,similar to their previous one.clever lyrics, rock n roll attitude, fantastic rhythm section and big choruses is what you get.my favs are "bad craziness","dlaw" and "i wont cut my hair".always a pleasure listening to those unique guys

From: elljam Date: May 2, 2012 at 9:40
Really enjoyed this. I've only heard one or two of their other albums but they aren't as good as this so will track some more down. Great fun time hard rock that reminds me of Kix,with hints of AC/DC. Funny lyrics & decent tunes with special mention for "Day of wrong moves", "Down that dusty 3rd world road" & "Grow or pay".

From: Ydol eM Date: August 29, 2013 at 11:35
What would we get if we crossbred AC/DC and The Shadows in the fertile "rock" soil of the turn of the 80s? After listening to this album (or previous one) my answer would be - D.A.D . Groovy hard rock sometimes with sleaze or southern elements. It reminds me another good Scandi bands Reptile Smile and The Fishfaces (I'm surprised by absence of this band from these really excellent pages). My most favourite D.A.D album. 85/100.
