OK, I'll put you out of your misery since this one has been a long time coming. It's a great album, with some very infectious tunes. Don't expect another 'Out of the Silence'. I think it's fair to say that ain't gonna happen. EVER! 'Sacred Ground' is slightly harder-edged than 'Belief' and 'Beneath the Shining Water'. If you liked 'Arc of the Dawn' this is the same gig. Very mellow but with a reasonable garnish of rock guitar work. |

Lovely album...there's not a secret that the band has changed its music direction through the years and that nowadays what we listen is a more mellow act with some celtic/irish flavour inspiration in every song..."You Carried Me" & "Along The Heather" are very pleasant songs and fave ones but tracks 1,2(nice)5,6,7,8(nice) & 10 are also appealing cuts that you might like as well,i think...recommended stuff...87/100 |

very good release for DARE doing what they want to do!of course i prefer their approach in first 2 releases but Darren thinks different !i must admit though that they do in their new sound very good, with the songs&lyrics creating a certain vibe and the whole result becomes much better with the guitar work of Vinnie who gives an interest in every moment!i believe that DARE achieve in what they ve trying and i m always pleased hearing from them! |

I can see why the guys play a few of these live. Excellent release to showcase modern Dare. Not as good as Road to Eden, but the future seems really bright. Days of Summer the highlight and the “who says you can’t go home” style On My Own. |
