Wow this is a pleasant surprise too!!!...another jewel posted here at HH ...first this act released a 4 track demo that actually ended up here in this long lenght album...Lynas Kastys sounds like Jon Bon Jovi at times...best shots are tracks "Drive You Crazy","The Fear Of Being Alone"(nice mid tempo),"Do You Feel For Me"(nice),"Feels Like I'm In Love","Coming Down On Me","Something I Need"(ala old Bon Jovi style of songs),"Lovin' You Ain't Enough"(nice)& "Livin' In Another World"(remix version)...recommended...85/100 |

only one comment before me ?(from mr rick of course).hey guys wake up you will miss an excellent american melodic rock record.receive this bomb today and it s a very great surprise for me.how a so talented band never find a deal with a major?.for me it s a mystery even if i know that rotten grunge wawe kill the good music.thanx to georg siegl (the boss of aor heaven)to give a new life to this jewel.the songs dated from 1988/1991.the sound is sensational, the production is absoluty perfect.it s a very consistant and solid effort.no weak point only killer songs include three super ballads.perfect balance between the ballads ,the aor songs and the hard fm songs.this record sound very "american",it s a mix of danger danger (big similarity),paul laine and bon jovi.for resume if you are fan of danger danger this superb album is for you!!! |

Yes, absolutely super album. Like the two comments before me, I'm astounded that this has gotten so little interest. The production is excellent and I really love the vocalist too. Irrespective of those things, this is fine melodic rock with a good dose of keyboards. I'm still getting into this but my favourites are The Fear Of Being Alone (atmospheric with moody lyrics), Coming Down On Me (80s style rock song) and Something I Need (decent ballad). The album is ballad heavy but they're all decent. Lastly, the musicianship is almost flawless (particularly the guitarist) and the band sound tight. Definitely an underrated gem. |
