Billy Sheehan, of Mr. Big fame, in the early years. Talas were way ahead of their time, like Montrose |

In the days of Talas, Johnny Angel played guitar with Billy Sheehan. Johnny Angel took a back seat in Rock Candy to Stephen Shaw, who in turn made the stage with Bittersweet. - get the Bittersweet disc at www.RetrospectRecords.com - That is GREAT MUSIC |

Their second release, "Sink Your Teeth Into That" is excellent! Great traditional hard rock with some Van Halen influences and some magical bassplaying by Billy Sheehan. This one isn't very interesting to be honest. Not necessarily bad but nothing special either. Some good songs, not a very good production. |

YES, "SINK YOUR TEETH INTO THAT" kicks major ass. PAUL VARGA sounds like PAUL SHORTINO, has he changed his name to Shortino? |
