Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

French chanteuse Sheila and her one and only foray into the world of AOR & a very good effort it is too. If you are familiar with the albums by Tane Can and Teri Desario, then this will be right up your street. In fact many of the same team/musicians that were on the Tane Cain album appear here too, including AOR producer extraordinaire Keith Olsen. Some of the tunes you maybe familiar with, 'Little Darlin' appeared on Spiders excellent 'S/T', 'Stranded' on Airplay's seminal debut, 'Runner' from the same named Ian Thomas album, and 'Prisoner' which popped up on the debut Sue Saad & The Next album. All versions appearing here remain faithful to the originals and are all very good indeed. All in all this is a very good album, not that often talked about in AOR cirlces, but if you like your early 80's female AOR of the names mentioned above, then this is an essential purchase |
