the best band of the 90's and great stuff, this is a good best of, it is very close to the best of I would make, except that on this best comp, there are no Fortune songs that HCage re-recorded. This is solid class all the way, and not found too much in today's music scene. A must!!!! and for those that have all HCage cd's, get this one for Stacy, No Turnin, and Hell which were not on any HCage cds. Just great!!! I hope there is much more from this great top class band!!! |

Pleasant compilation with plenty of mid tempos and yes Swriter,it would have been a better compilation if they had selected more songs from the Fortune era(they have re-recorded more than one)...tracks like "Two Ships In The Night","No Sunday Bride","One New York Mornig"( ),"Stacy"(do i need to add something that hasn't been said before???,a beautiful song by all means, classic AOR ballad),"Three Nights Runnin'","Chinatown","As You Are"(nice),"Pay The Devil His Due" & "Halfway Home" are just trully brilliant ones IMO...enjoyable to have despite the lack of more re-recorded Fortune songs...91/100 |
