If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Petra CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Petra are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

|Rock-worship albums are hard to do well, but Petra pulled it off during the peak of their popularity with the first "Petra Praise" CD, which, if I recall correctly, still stands as their best seller. Well, the band whose name means "rock" thought they would try to capture lightning in a bottle twice, but the results are pretty dismal. A bunch of contemporary praise & worship songs are given a Petra makeover, but only 2 or 3 songs actually have a rock edge, with the rest remaining safely in church-friendly territory. Listen, the 2nd time was most certainly not the charm and while I'm not opposed to the band going it a 3rd go-round, here's hoping that if they do, they remember they're a rock band, not a local church worship group.|
