Finally after years of waiting, this little jewel of an Mini album is finally released on CD. Released way back in 1983, this has always been a bit of a forgotten classic, which is surprising, as it features amongst others, members of Wrabit, Honeymoon Suite & Zappacosta, all of whom were doing good business at time. It's only a 6 tracker, but it is a thing of real quality. 'Can't Hold On Forever' is a real corker of a track, classic Canadian AOR at it's finest, which also appeared on the excellent Bernie LaBarge album 'Bargin' In' a year later, (he also writes 'Everywhere I Go', also featured here). 'No One's Business' & 'Heartache' have Honeymoon Suite's Derry Grehan's input in the writing and guitar work & have that HS sound to them both & 'Runaway' is a Nils Lofgren penned track that finishes off a very very satisfactory 20 odd minutes. Top all that off with a typical Paul Gross (Wrabit, Saga) production job and you have an absolute top quality release.

hum i don t share the enthousiasm of jez.yes it s a great a o r female e p,yes the musicians make a good jod and the production is perfect but...in the same style lee aaron, pat benatar, laos, the storm, witness ect ect ect are far better than lisa price.her songs are great but have nothing extraordinary and this ep sound a little dated.only for die hard fans of female a o r.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: June 3, 2013 at 14:05
Oh, the shame, the sheer cryin' shame of it all. Imagine, an EP featuring memers of Wrabit and Zappacosta being forgotten. No way, with that all-star cast.

Jez's comment is very accurate but somehow i understand our french mate 123charpenay's statement...ok,the lady probably pales up with the comparissons he's made(Benatar,Aaron and so on)but it's pretty worth the effort she did and with guys from such amazing Pomp/AOR bands Wrabit(which i saw live in 1982 while on holidays in my country Venezuela along with Joe Perry Project & Harlequin, from Canada like Wrabit)and Zappacosta as session musicians it couldn't go any wrong...my faves are 'No One's Business'( ),'Can't Hold On Forever' & 'Everywhere I Go'...70/100

one more time a very fair and very great comment from my venezuelian friend rick .he is the master of this site.i m totally agree with him.no doubt members of wrabit and zappacosta are some talented musicians;but for me it s not enough.here they don t realise a masterpiece, a record who will stay in the history of female melodic rock.

Hey my friend 123charpenay...one thing is for sure...this lady is a beauty queen ...cheers mate!!!

I find hard to very listening at Bernie Laforge obviously banging while the songs get writing on this album, cause she very beautiful but obviously bitter she is, that Bernie while giving it good to her, take it away like on song 5 called Empty Heart, she means not to talk about her heart, but about her privates, that are empty after being emptied of Canadian Beef, so you can tell she is very very upset over it, but she get over it, so will you, cd a keeper high recommend especially fans that you are of Debbie Gibson, Dennis DeYoung, Paul Carrack, only female versions of music that kind, I think you can like, especially imagine that while you listen to, she can bop your Bologna, extra special perk for album that this is.

Me & all my bffs think this music is like totally amazeballs! Fer REALZ! Lisa Price is like OMG! so AWESOME. Jasmine played it at this totally like crunkin' party, u know that one where Brianne totally hooked up with Tyler Warren -- he'z SO HAWT! He totally had his swag on & we were just like chillaxin & then she's all, 'You've GOT 2 hear this awesomity CD I got! U know when I got those tope Ugg rides at the mall?' & I was like 'No WAY!' & she was all 'WAY!' & then we heard it & it was like totally OFF THE CHAIN! Those others need 2 stop trippin with the haterade, this music iz EPIC. I give it a hundo P. Don't be cray-cray, totally go get this disc mmkay? I'm outtie.

From: Leykis101 Date: July 28, 2013 at 23:56
Like 83? Like sideways! totally gag me with a spoon, I like completely didnt like see it that way, you can chill it one way, and I wouldve like totally never have seen it coming, cause I like totally thought 83 was like crunked with no flavor, 84 was completely and gross, and thats like totally where it was at, even though I wasnt even a swimmer in like my daddys sack yet in 84, you like completely get what I mean, right?

From: Leykis101 Date: July 29, 2013 at 0:00
and doghouse, you gotta like totally go to The Buckle if you want what you need, cause I like so looked all over the place to, and like I found a Donnington, and a Silver, I like even found a reverse denim Sunday hat, but the only like place you can totally find a Foghat, would be like at The Buckle, gag me, huh! also try Nordtroms, or Dilliards, but like you'll never find a Foghat looking on this site, gag me, thats disgusting, and grody, c\ya

hi rick yes lisa price is a beautiful woman.but i m surprise by the passion about this obscure rerealise by yesterrock.

From: Leykis101 Date: September 14, 2013 at 3:44
123 why suprised you are? if good as the music is, then hidden it can never stay, specially with LaForge and his huge canadian bacon pounding all over Prices album, make good music you can and unheard it may probably be, but with the internet and digital music, then rerelased it gets, you cannot possibly hide it any longer, truth has been heard.
