If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Black Star Riders CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Black Star Riders are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

What do folks think of this release, curious?

I'm a casual Thin Lizzy fan, and was just as interested in Damon Johnson (Brother Cane) and Ricky Warwick (Almighty) working together, with that being said I think BSR created a solid CD. Of the 12 songs my faves are "All Hell Breaks Loose", "Kingdom of the Lost", "Hey Judas" and "Before The War", and IMO the only weak track is "Blues Ain't So Bad". The production is good, but maybe a little to overproduced or restrained?, maybe I'm not expressing this right, but to me it doesn't sound like a live band playing together, and the guitars lack "punch". I know this started off as a Thin Lizzy CD and there are some obvious Thin Lizzy inspired songs ("Bound For Glory"), but they also forge their own sound on some of the material. I think Black Star Riders have created a CD worthy of the Thin Lizzy legacy as well as creating an album that fans of classic/hard rock in general would enjoy.
