This is one of the best cds I have purchased in recent years. D.C. has one of those classic voices, that can handle any range. His classical training comes through on this excellent melodic metal album! 5*****

DC is a very close, friend of mine. He has very smooth skin and those lips, he is good to his menz! Mwa babe, kiss kiss!

From: Rune H. Date: January 11, 2002 at 15:38
Great solo album from one of the best vocalists in the metal world. Also check out the albums from Royal Hunt that D. C sings on, my favorite band ( Too bad he`s not there anymore )

From: motley Date: May 16, 2002 at 13:44
totally agree.a classic clean metal voice that isnt comparable to anybody. check out SILENT FORCE albums (his new band) total asskicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: oldyett Date: June 26, 2002 at 22:19
royal hunt without dc cooper just ain't the same....one of the best 'solo' discs in many years, every song is killer no filler-----get one today!!!!

From: Rycheage Date: July 20, 2003 at 18:25
This album is full of great powerful Euro hard rock songs that get to the point rather than drag on too long. There is in fact only one extended song, the 9 minute track 'The Union' that ends the album. But I must say that tune is done very well also. It's heavy, it's totally in your face and the vocals and playing throughout are basically flawless. For any fan of Pink Cream 69, Fair Warning, Street Legal or Axel Rudi Pell. Very enjoyable and very high class.

From: Chris Date: November 14, 2003 at 0:44
This is a really good release, as all the songs are engaging in some way or another, and Cooper's singing makes this an easy album to listen to. He doesn't reach higher than his voice will allow, though he can reach pretty high.

From: Dean Date: December 10, 2003 at 13:54
Great cd- also highly recommended for anyone who was into bands like Dokken. This is his most commercial release, for anyone into the heavier stuff his other band Silent Force is great. His stuff in Royal Hunt also kicks ass but is way more progressive and keyboard oriented.

Its Not Bad But Not Awsome It Could be better.

From: V3 Date: November 9, 2004 at 6:48
Bad album...make me bored.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: June 1, 2006 at 15:04
This CD deserves nothing better than a 'D-' rating, because it barely passes the grade. There is one awesome song ('The Angel Comes') and a whole pile blah, boring, banal filler tunes. If you were cooped up in a cage for weeks on end with nothing else to listen to, this might help ease your melodic hard rock cravings, but anybody with access to other CDs should go ahead and listen to those CDs and forget about this one. This is a prime example of a great singer fronting some not-so-great music.

From: RockMan10 Date: November 24, 2006 at 2:52
Totally disagree. This disc has some damn fine songs on them. It's a great mix of PC69 and Silent Force (why is that band not on this site?). DC is one of the best rock singers in the genre, ever!

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 1, 2008 at 8:16
Silent Rage/Royal Hunt frontman does little justice to those releases here. It is good but just not as good as his releases with the above mentioned bands. I find myself scratching my head to remember any song that is truly memorable on this album. Is it melodic, yes, is it produced well yes, is it memorable no. 78/100

From: RockMan10 Date: July 1, 2008 at 21:57
Wow. I'm not that shocked to see some negative feedback as there are a few dull moments on this but, on the other hand, there are about 6-8 very good songs and two just downright fantastic ones. 'Dream', 'The Angel Comes' and 'Until the End' are tremendous peices of music. I love everything DC touches as he is probably one of my favorite vocalists right now. I LOVE Silent Force and hope they hang around for a few more discs. I'd give this about and 82/100

From: RockMan10 Date: July 1, 2008 at 22:00
I didn't realize I already commented on this in 2006. Time flies! A small correction for metalmastermusic.....DC is the vocalist for Silent Force, not Silent Rage.

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 2, 2008 at 8:20
Thanks Rockman ! I am known to mix up my bands once in a while heck with over 4000 disc I guess anyone would.

From: z4roxx Date: September 26, 2010 at 10:44
Really a great disc. It's the logic consequence of members origin's bands:Royal Hunt meets Pink Cream 69 with progressive elements from Conception and Vanden Plas.Never liked Conception except for the first song of their first album "Building a force",one of my fave metal song ever...

From: happy2849 Date: March 4, 2011 at 18:06
A great solo release from of of rocks greatest singers. Just the right amount of melody/rock that should satisfy most melodic rock collectors.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 7, 2011 at 18:11
Some mixed comments above wich i entirely respect..in my case i've found this DC Cooper solo release quite outstanding..maybe not as solid as we thought it would be but still delivers great songs(Z4roxx comment is accurate, about the comparison with some bands)...best shots for me were "Dream",the killer cover of Uriah Heep's classic "Easy Living","The Angel Comes","Three Generations","Whisper" & "The Union"...if you are into Royal Hunt,Pink Cream 69,Vanden Plas and so on then you'll like this solo effort by DC Cooper.92/100

On the wonder of the dear Angels hand... Whisper and Until the End have been constants in my playlist since this came out. Two incredible songs.
