I havenīt heard this album, but the name of it is the best Iīve ever seen! |
From: RR-Finland | Date: September 2, 2003 at 15:17 |
visitor: I agree with that name, really good choice. About this record, I once have it, but I sell it away. I donīt remember well what kind of stuff these tracks were, but it wasnīt worth of buying! I really liked their previous releases and those ones Iīm gonna keep forever! If you donīt know this band, try these: Culture Killed The Native, Temples Of Gold. Also Hungry Hearts is very good. Culture and Temples are worth of EVERY penny! Those are masterpieces! Read more my comments from there... |

Great album!! If you like "Temples of Gold" than you'll love this one too. Every song has great hooks, the riffs and the vocal melodies are killer. Fernando Garcia does a great work here. Nice variety too, from ballads (es. "Man on the Run") to funky bits (like "Rock-o-Matic"), with a lot of adrenalinic rockers and anthems in between! Definitely reccomended! |

Great work, offering a great range of sound in the field of hard rock and heavy metal. This band has a special skill to make their songs sound more special although others can manage to make the song more worked and complicated. They just have that direct in the vein and strong feeling.-However I prefer their former efforst in the 80īs |

Another Victory album, another gem. 'As time goes passing by' is a great, almost 'Don't tell no lies'-esque heavy rock track, 'Man on the run' is a majestic ballad, 'No way tonight' is commerical rock heaven, and the last three tracks are all flawless slabs of melodic hard rock and it's a massive end to the album - huge!!! How good is 'God of sound'?! That pre-chorus!!! Killer, monster album! |

Great Cd, I agree with the last post, the trumpets are no the best thing on this album. Anyways it is a rocker, great riffs and great job on the vocals by Fernando Garcia. I also like what he has done on the german band Wicked Sensation. |

If you love Victory - you'll als love CANNON too. This is another great german band (also from Hannover) in the same vein. |

After hearing Voiceprint first and liking it very much, I was a little dissapointed with this, considering it's the follow-up to the fantastic Temples Of Gold. I find this album somewhat inconsistent and unfocused when it comes to songwriting; the band can't seem to decide which way to go stylistically. They come up with some tight heavy rockers that you'd like to hear throughout the album, but then suddenly you hear some 80's influenced pop rock tunes and even some stadium rock anthems. Maybe that's just me, but this album just doesn't make it to my stereo as often as the other Garcia-era albums. |

excellent release by VICTORY once again back in 92!strong and warm vocals ,great guitars ,big choruses and a nice hard rockin vibe all over!all the songs are interesting ,but there isnt any big hit and that s a problem unsolved for a release that could be more!overall this will satisfy every hard rocker |
