Hi! Don't you know this band? This is my favourite album, pure energy and a singer who can with anything. Every song is good, although they've never been a group of 'hits'. Listen to 'right up' or 'Salamander Fire' or how Fernando (from my Spain) sings in the ballad ' Not the one' |

I only have a CDR (copy) of this one for now, but it's great! 'Salamander Fire' and 'Deep Inside The World' were played on Utah radio a bit when the CD came out, but then the 80s hard rock station went off the air! What a SHAME! |

My least favourite of a bunch of excellent releases from Victory, and this is no less. 'Won't bring me down' is great hard rock, 'Deep inside the world' is a ballad that constantly gets to me - amazing track, and how is 'Not the one'?! Oh dear! What a heartfelt, angry and passionate song. Brilliant band, brilliant CD. I notice 'Insitinct' is absent from ther site... |

I think this is one thats overlooked.IMO its one of their best.Salamander Fire,Cyberia,Fighting Reality,Won't Bring Me Down,Black And White and Right Up are all hard rockers and there are a couple of pretty good ballads too.I know Hermann isn't on this one and thats probably why it get over-looked but it still great. |

I agree with rallen399, this album is definately underrated. I rank this among the best releases of Victory, and Garcia really does great job with the vocals on this one. My favourite tracks are Run And Hide, Fighting The Reality, Won't Bring Me Down and The Answer. Great album! |

"Culture Killed The Native" is the best album ever recorded with spaniard vocalist Fernando "El Toro Loco" Garcia and obviously when you are stuck in one album you want everything to sound like it(if u know what i mean)...this one isn't what i expected but also it keeps the cheerful side working..."Way Too Far" but not if we are talking about the best cut of the album IMO but "Run And Hide","Salamander Fire","Deep Inside The World"(solid semi softy),"Won't Bring Me Down" & "The Answer" are songs that one way or another will make you keeping the Garcia time alive and remembered... album...86/100 |
