Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you dont have anything by GARY MOORE you need to buy this album. Many classics of melodic hard rock. Hard and heavy for any fan of great songs. |

What a great power! It's power melodic rock in the vain of Dare's "Blood.." you get served here. I never expected that from Gary Moore since I just have his "Blues & Ballads" album. And I must admit I LIKE "Still got the blues" and some other from that period. Best songs here are "Out in the field", "Over the hills.." & "After the war" with "Wild frontier" not miles behind. I don't mention the perfection of "The loner" & "Parisienne walkways" anymore 'cos I already did it on another place. ![]() |

Dear Mr. Moore, please go and listen to your old albums. What will you hear? Brilliant music!!! You were such a great hardrock/metal musician. Please come out of your bluesy armchair and start to kick some ass again!!! |
