If American radio had pushed this record it would have been a huge hit. There are so many great tunes on this one, not forgetting by any means the superb guitar work. "Always Gonna Love You," "Cold Hearted," and "End Of The World" are high points on this one. Damn fine!!!!!

From: Amber Date: April 24, 2001 at 21:06
Agreed! This CD rocks and Moore could have had major success in the USA if radio had been more helpful. This one is an overlooked classic.

From: Jennifer Date: May 15, 2001 at 18:28
I will agree with the above statements and add this one is another Goddamn classic.

The remaster from AXE/KILLER records (doubled with RUN FOR COVER) has to be heard! I wish he would go back to playing this kind of music!

I've worn out both cassette and LP versions of this release. The production is excellent with no frills to get in the way of the performer's instruments. I love the blues-rocking "Cold Hearted". "Rockin' Every Night" and "Don't Take Me for a Loser" are high points and, as all Gary fans will agree, the lead guitar work on "End of the World" is outstanding. If you are not familiar with Gary Moore, this should be your first of his many releases to look for. Guaranteed to impress.

One hell of an album. Saw Gary Moore live when this was released. Damn he rocked. One of my alltime favorite cd`s.

From: Rockforever Date: October 12, 2002 at 10:47
Gary's first classic hard rocking album.Great songs, great playing (Moore,Ian Paice,Neil Murray etc.),good production. The guitar intro to End of the World is amazing. This is classic bluesy rock/metal record.

From: Greedy Bastard Date: January 14, 2004 at 6:45
Moore's cream better than ever. Schade not big chart success

From: Dave Date: September 4, 2004 at 20:36
Like the Rainbow "Rising" album, "Corridors Of Power" is a timeless classic that should be owned by everyone and used as an example to all hard rock bands on how to do it properly. If you don't own these two C.D's then your collection is not complete !!!!!!Simple as that!!!!!

From: Rockhead Date: July 20, 2005 at 13:20
Classic rock Cd from an era when Gary was a rocker not a bluesman. Excellent hard rock with some very fine songs, a stellar band and great guitar playing from an often overlooked master.

Have updated most of my GM back catologue recently, as most have been re-issued in crisp remastered form + bonus tracks. Of all of them, this is the pick of the bunch & is a monster of an album. The material has good variation, from the rockier 'Don't Take Me For A Loser','End Of The World' & a very good cover of Free's 'Wishing Well' to the excellent ballads -'Always Gonna Love You','I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow' & my fave 'Falling In Love With You' - all supremely played & presented. SUPERB.

From: AOR freaky Date: October 28, 2005 at 3:18
Once more, I have to agree with Jez (I'm I getting weak ?) ! This is pure classic hardrock. I know I didn't comment much on Gary Moore (my mistake), but the guy was a great guitarist in his hardrockdays. Great CD, and I don't hesitate to say that all his CD's are good if you're a fan of classic hardrock !

From: PAUL Date: October 28, 2005 at 11:43
Certainly classic hardrock AOR freaky, but far from let's say "perfect strangers" or "1987" which are my 2 fav british hardrock albums of all times! Gary is a talented musician for sure and i love him when offers good hardrock like this one and not blues...i'll never understand why he changed his style after "after the war",a pity. I don't know if you ever heard "a different beat",if Lynnot was alive Gary wouldn't after this album. Jez, don't tell me you playing "corridors" now...

Solid album of Gary..."Always Gonna Love You" & "Falling In Love With You" are the best cuts in here without being rocking tunes but mid tempo ballads instead!!!...tracks 1,4,6,7 & 9 are good ones as well...recommended album...88/100
