Another great venture from Moore here. Ozzy Osbourne shared vocals on "Led Clones," a tune directed at Led Zeppelin rip off bands. Superb guitar work and production make this one of the best of the late '80's.

The best production he ever had on any of his 'ROCK' albums although the songs themselves don't live up to those on WILD FRONTIER. You can also tell where he was heading for his next album. Still an excellent buy!

I like this kind of Gary Moore. Namely his music before "Still Got The Blues". He has no need to act like BB King or Eric Clapton. The style here is enough good for him. This album has strong melodic metal pieces. I wish Gary would go on like that...

Me enkanta Gary Moore. Prefiero el Run for Cover al after de war, pero no deja de ser un disko genial!!

From: Scandinavia Date: June 27, 2003 at 16:41
This album saw Gary boost a big time production and sure the good ol' Moore solos are still present but it never really hit the high position on my chart...Good album and good songs though...All the instumental stuff was a bit too much for me I guess...Highlights here are: "After...", "Speak..."(Incl. Ozzy. Moore playing "real" metal), "Livin'..." & "Ready for Love" (Dude, that guitar gets beaten up on that track!)

From: RR-Finland Date: September 1, 2003 at 16:06
Not so great that 2 releases before, but still kicking. We want Moore!

From: Big Papa K Date: June 14, 2004 at 2:22
Moore is back with more of the same. "After The War" sounds exactly like it is a leftover from "Run For Cover". The Ozzy sung "Led Clones" is an interesting tune. 5/10

El ultimo disco hardrockero de Gary. En la onda del Wild Frontier, aunque con un rollo menos folkorico (y algo menos inspirado quizas). Favs.: La espectacular Blood of emeralds y la rockera Livin on dreams.

Had the chance to see him live on this "after the war tour" and man,he just blasted!!!.What a performance this guy did!!!.Nowadays he's a bluesy guitar player and perhaps we miss the good old rocker that he was.Anyway excellent artist somehow underrated by the media.Good album and essential.
