The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Thowsen CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Thowsen are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Undoubtebly a very pleasant Hi-Tech AOR album(only for the ones who understand the genre)...my fave tracks are the catchy ones "Call Me A Stranger","Man On The Run","Given It Up For Love" plus the nice and solid smoothie "Andrea Doria"...enjoyable to have this...80/100

My fave genre.. AOR High Tech..... not a bad listen.... West Coast meets Hi tech... usual stuff.... programmed sequencers.... synth lite, and gated drums.... my top picks for this genre will always be "Think Out Loud" and Canadas (not USA band) The Arrows

Sooo. Pal Thowsen is the drummer and one of renown in Jazz circles, particularly in his homeland of Norway. Pal has actually released 4 albums previous to this one in a more West Coast direction. This is a highly regarded Hi-Tech Aor album and in some circles the word "classic" has been used, but for me not quite. Its very good no doubt, but Ive heard better: Stabilizers, Device, The Arrows et al. A worthy addition to your collection with the original commanding top dollar, but reissued last year (2022) which will make it easier to find and more affordable to the "Hi-Techers" out there.
