This record brings back so many wonderful memories. All songs throughout the album are great, for example the amazing Time Canon followed by Killing Time sends shivers down the spine of any true hardrocker.

One of my favorite bands growing up. This was the album that turned me onto the band. Rik Emmett's voice is just unbelievable. 'Cool Down' is one of my favorite songs. Great buy!!

These guys put on an awesome live show!!!!

'Killing Time' is awesome!

This album, and Midsummer's Daydream especially, influenced me the most. It shows versatility rarely heard. I still perform that tune live.

Classic - this is what got me into this band 'Spellbound' - when I heard it - I lost it - forever a fan. This started it all. 'can't you hear the thunder, rolling in a youngs mans heart' - love that line - love the song. I only wish - for a reunion. MAybe - someday - maybe.

9 CHAMPIONS, no sé si este disco es el mejor de TRIUMPH. Pero contiene muy buenas canciones. Yo le daría a este disco buenas oportunidades para impresionarme. TRIUMPH es una de las mejores bandas de los 70s/80s.

From: Gar Date: November 14, 2003 at 3:58
This is probably my least favorite Triumph album. 'Follow Your Heart' is excellent and 'Midsummer's Daydream' is their best instrumental piece, but the rest of the disc got old pretty quick. Don't get me wrong. I think Triumph were a great band. It's just that this one doesn't compare to some of the other fine albums they put out(particularly 'Allied Forces & 'Surveillance').

From: ED Date: December 10, 2003 at 10:33
HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM? THIS ALBUM IS GREAT! WELL, NOT AS GOOD AS ALLIED FORCES OR ROCK AND ROLL MACHINE, BUT THIS ALBUM IS STILL GREAT...

From: Swed Date: December 16, 2003 at 22:37
Had to have it on cd , super . Ordered it from US !

From: Dean Date: December 20, 2003 at 12:09
Favorite Triumph disc for sure. Midsummer's daydream into Time Cannon into Killing Time? Musical perfection.

From: Vancouver Date: February 8, 2004 at 3:35
I won this on cassette back in 1985 on OZFM. They played at Memorial Stadium in St. John's, Newfoundland, with Helix as the opener. Triumph had an excellent laser light show. I must look for this one on CD.

From: Ordinary Man Date: February 28, 2004 at 10:04
Triumph in their prime. Midsummer's Daydream is a masterpiece! Follow Your Heart, Killing Time, Time Goes By...Ahhh the memories! This was one band that always produced quality songs. Very few of what I refer to as 'filler tunes'. Rik Emmett, I believe, was and still is the best guitar player in the world. Definately the most versatile. Awesome voice and great song writer too!

From: rob Date: December 19, 2004 at 10:57
Fantastic album, rediscovering Triumph on c.d. where are these boys???

From: 3 Date: February 19, 2005 at 8:13
triumph is by far the most versital band out in the 70-80's. Rik Emmett is one of the finest guitarists ever. he makes van halen seem so one dimentional. this album is richly produced and the musicianship is unequalled. the live show was huge, yet you never lost the power of the music. Rik still plays live in small venues and has a rather diverse collection of cd's of his own. dont expect the thunderous triumph sound though. great guitar pieces. doesnt look like there will be a reunion. damn!

From: Remastered Reason Date: February 15, 2006 at 22:32
By now Triumph was riding the crest of the hit wave they managed to create. Surprisingly, this album rocks as hard as anything they have ever done, though it does not have the raw sound of their first album or the sheer greatness of the 'Allied Forces' album. Non the less, this is a very good Triumph offering & qualifies as a winner. Recommended Listening.

From: BIG-TIME Date: February 29, 2008 at 14:58
This album is more Heavy Metal than rock and sounds earlier than 84 and I don't really like the sound or production (sorry) the only track I can vouch for is "Rock Out, Rock On"...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: Brother Cane Date: November 19, 2010 at 6:03
the best Triumph cd IMO except for Edge Of Excess wich some said it is not really Triumph (but better I say) and they're right!!!

From: halfordhughes Date: May 16, 2011 at 13:40
their best album!!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 13, 2016 at 12:06
Nice album but IMHO far from being their best...tracks 1,2,4 & 8 are the ones for me...84/100 ...Triumph's music is simply magical...
