If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Triumph CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Triumph are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I got this, and I kinda like it. But all my all time favorites from TRIUMPH is on other discs.

Sorry, my bad. It should say "are", not "is"

From: Ed Date: October 28, 2003 at 10:27
I'll explain it in 1 only word: CLASSIC!!!

You can hear the hungry playing on this album. No, it's not the hit making machine of future years but rather a young, aggressive Rock & Roll Machine that exploded onto the scene. Emmett's vocals on this album are in top form & his guitar is rude & raw. Recommended listening.

A good rocking release by Triumph,i have it on vinyl which has a different track list(in this case additional songs of their REAL debut self titled album of 1976,some people think this R'N'R Machine is their debut,be careful with that dudes)...talking now about them,Triumph is band that was ready to give us good music(from heavy stuff to the more commercial side of rock)...fave tracks are "Takes Time","Rocking Mountain Way"( ),"24 Hours A Day" & "Rock And Roll Machine"(the best cut of the album IMHO)...80/100

excellent debut for TRIUMPH back in 77 showing from the start what it s gonna be with amazing musicianship and a big variety of sounds from easy melodic songs to rough rockers!Rik sounds great and this one is much under rated as it s flawless from start to finish!a must have for sure
