The 2019 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive!

It's that time of the year again: The annual Heavy Harmonies donation drive to cover the site expenses for the year. It will run through April 30, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.

Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.

And if you happen to be fortunate enough to make 6 figures or more a year, feel free to give gobs of cash!... I'm not too proud to have a sugar daddy or seven :)

Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Triumph CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Triumph are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I had almost forgotten about Triumph, until I read reviews on this site. Now Ive listened to all my old Triumph cd`s all day. Damn they were an awesome band. Do they still play.??? I know Rik Emmett makes some solo cd`s now and then.

From: Edward Date: September 22, 2003 at 9:19
Rik Emmett has his solo career. I doubt if the band is around playing these days. I think that TRIUMPH is still disbanded. But one thing is for sure, they were one of the bests in their time. And I'll miss them. They're one of the best bands I've heard. Bring back the 80s rock!!!!

"World of Fantasy" was the first song I ever heard by Triumph (I was 13) and is still my favorite. I'd be first in line for a reunion!

Triumph were absolutely fantastic. This album is beyond belief. It must be one of the best rock albums ever made. As the other Triumph albums - before this one and after it - prove, Never Surrender was way more than the sum of its parts. If I started analyzing it, those 500 words would come and go, many times over.. Kudos!

Una de las mejores producciones de esta banda canadiense...riffs que por momentos se escuchan como en directo, personalmente creo que When the lights go down,es la mejor del disco...erbunny@telesal.net...

I have listened to this cd repeatedly all weekend. What a fantastic album! "all the way", 'Never Surrender", 'Writing on the Wall', 'Lost in a world of fantasy'...'Lights go down"....GREAT stuff! A true classic hard rock monster. Only thing that might have made it better would be Rik singing lead on ALL of the songs. Nothing against Gil's musicianship, it's just that Rik has some incredible range and for me, is the signature Triumph sound.

I agree 100%, I always liked Rik a lot better. Gil's okay but there's nothing unique about his voice. This and Allied Forces are probably my favorite Triumph releases, but I like pretty much all of them right up to Thunder Seven, when they started getting a little too sappy for me.

From: Remastered Reason Date: February 15, 2006 at 22:50
After the highly motivated "Allied Forces" album, one could argue Triumph lost some of their vigor on this release. Well, slightly. Overall though, this album boasts several signature tunes that blend in nicely with the rest of their repertoire. However stale Triumph naysayers thought they had become, the fact of the matter is that Triumph continued along in the winning formula they helped create & ultimately Never Surrendered.

From: underworld king Date: January 28, 2010 at 21:59
World of Fantasy is my favorite on this disc followed by tracks 7 and 8.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 31, 2015 at 21:20
Some people claim that this is one of the best Triumph albums but for me it is only a good one, just that(a matter of tastes i believe)...tracks 1,2,5 & 9 are my faves...80/100

excellent release once again for TRIUMPH and one more ahead of its time!the production is very strong ,the band performs in a great groovy way,Rik sounds great and the songs are catchy ,well structured and extremely rocking!hadnt listen to it for years and revisiting it made me realize how good that one is!a classic of the early 80 s hard rock scene for sure
