I had almost forgotten about Triumph, until I read reviews on this site. Now Ive listened to all my old Triumph cd`s all day. Damn they were an awesome band. Do they still play.??? I know Rik Emmett makes some solo cd`s now and then. |

Rik Emmett has his solo career. I doubt if the band is around playing these days. I think that TRIUMPH is still disbanded. But one thing is for sure, they were one of the bests in their time. And I'll miss them. They're one of the best bands I've heard. Bring back the 80s rock!!!! |

"World of Fantasy" was the first song I ever heard by Triumph (I was 13) and is still my favorite. I'd be first in line for a reunion! |

Triumph were absolutely fantastic. This album is beyond belief. It must be one of the best rock albums ever made. As the other Triumph albums - before this one and after it - prove, Never Surrender was way more than the sum of its parts. If I started analyzing it, those 500 words would come and go, many times over.. Kudos! |

Una de las mejores producciones de esta banda canadiense...riffs que por momentos se escuchan como en directo, personalmente creo que When the lights go down,es la mejor del disco...erbunny@telesal.net... |

I have listened to this cd repeatedly all weekend. What a fantastic album! "all the way", 'Never Surrender", 'Writing on the Wall', 'Lost in a world of fantasy'...'Lights go down"....GREAT stuff! A true classic hard rock monster. Only thing that might have made it better would be Rik singing lead on ALL of the songs. Nothing against Gil's musicianship, it's just that Rik has some incredible range and for me, is the signature Triumph sound. |

I agree 100%, I always liked Rik a lot better. Gil's okay but there's nothing unique about his voice. This and Allied Forces are probably my favorite Triumph releases, but I like pretty much all of them right up to Thunder Seven, when they started getting a little too sappy for me. |
From: Remastered Reason | Date: February 15, 2006 at 22:50 |
After the highly motivated "Allied Forces" album, one could argue Triumph lost some of their vigor on this release. Well, slightly. Overall though, this album boasts several signature tunes that blend in nicely with the rest of their repertoire. However stale Triumph naysayers thought they had become, the fact of the matter is that Triumph continued along in the winning formula they helped create & ultimately Never Surrendered. |

World of Fantasy is my favorite on this disc followed by tracks 7 and 8. |

Some people claim that this is one of the best Triumph albums but for me it is only a good one, just that(a matter of tastes i believe)...tracks 1,2,5 & 9 are my faves...80/100 |
