With his third album in 2 years Mr David Antonio Saylor certainly doesn't hang about that's for sure. Releasing albums so quickly can sometimes have an adverse effect on the quality of the songs, but i am happy to report that this does NOT happen here. There is something for everyone on a David Saylor release and once again the ex Push UK, and current Wild Rose frontman has delivered another album chocka block full of pretty wonderful poppy AOR tunes. There's not really a duff number in sight but my personel favourites would be 'Don't Say Goodbye' featuring some lovely 80's flowing keys, the wonderful AOR gem 'Caught In The Middle' taken from his solo release from 1990 'One On One', and the amazing cover of the 2AM classic 'Now You're Leaving' which is taken to another level on this album. As always the vocals of David Saylor are right up there with the best around and once again he has created another rather wonderful AOR release. Here's to the next one and hopefully many more. |
