ONE OF THE BEST ROCKIN' CD OF ALL TIME. KILLER GUITARS WITH A GREAT SINGER!!!! A PERFECT 10!!!! TOO BAD IT TOOK THEM 4 YEARS TO RELEASE IT. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY THIS CD. YOU WON'T GO WRONG. SOUNDS LIKE 220 VOLT OR MILLION.

ACES HIGH changed vocalists for this second CD, but they didn't change their style much, except maybe to add a slightly heavier edge to their beefy guitars. So what you have here is more powerful, in-your-face melodic hard rock/metal, similar at times to Million (like the above guy mentioned). The guitars really crank on this puppy, which is always good, & the songs, while perhaps not quite as catchy as those on the debut, are still pretty darn good. This one's definitely worth owning.

M. Allen is wrong, they haven´t changed the singer, for some reason he used Nikki on their first album and on the second he´s actually listed as Bjorn "Nikki" Andersen. The drummer is new however, Anders Johansson is one of my favourite skinbeater. He's played with Silver Mountain, Yngwe malmsten and Jonas Hellborg to name a few. Look out for the third album from Aces High. It's called "Forgive and Forget" and will be released may 6th. A new 10, at least judging from the songs i've heard so far.

I think that "Tanglewood Dreamin´" really is a masterpiece, and the ballad "In a wink of an eye" have a given place on every Powerballad-album in the world. Finally ACES HIGH RULES!

Is the Ten 'N Out CD any good? I'd only heard Pull No Punches and I headed straight to Ebay to find some of their music. Ten N' Out is the only one I found, I was just curious about your opinions.

To Tim: Ten N´Out is very good. Unfortunately it´s out of print (i think). Their new album "Forgive & Forget have been delayed, but check in at: http://zrecords.simplewebhosting.co.uk/index2.html to get releasedate in the near future. A Aces High website will soon be available att www.aceshigh.rocks.it At the moment it's under construction.

Although I can't hear "Pull No Punches" enough, I'm not as crazy about this album as the first. It's not bad by any means but it's not nearly as good as the first. Some of the songs get stale in places.

Tim, I think you will be pleased to hear that their new CD is somewhat of a return to what the first CD sounded like. If only Z records can get their thumbs out of their asses and release it.

Bad news! Z records delayed the realese of Forgive and Forget, and it probably won't be realesed by them. Aces High are in negotiations with another label. Z records are making some trouble but hopefully they will soon se solved. Believe me, this CD is absolutely worth the wait! I'll be back with more information when I know more.

Excellent melodic rock. "In The Wink Of An Eye" and "Tanglewood Dreamin'" are awesome. 9.5/10.

Hmm, had this for a couple years and finally just put it on. Likin' it, good crunchy guitars, good hooks. Very melodic and tasteful. The keyboards are there but not overbearing and impinging on the guitar (the most important musical instrument ever...).

The latest news is that it will be realesed in march, it should already have been in stores but there was some problem with the cover. No confirmation yet on www.gmrmusic.se. This is a very good, solid band and they do not disappoint with their 2nd release. IMO it is not as good as the debut, but is still very solid. If you like good, well played hard rock check these guys out. Pick of this album is again the ballads, but good release overall.

pretty good release for ACES HIGH ,a band that has a solid sound with very good musicianship and many good songs!they remind me of GREAT KING RAT without being so good !the guitar solos are strong ,but the choruses should been catchier and maybe a bit more commercial!"tanglewood dreamin","i ain t sorry","in a wink of an eye" are the highlights of a release that is quite enjoyable
