If you notice that a particular Ugly Kid Joe CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. real good debut album, but the best is yet to come!!

Nice Try! This is another group that tried to keep the "hair band" dream alive. I like whitfield's vocals and the guitars are nice and crunchy. But it wasn't long after their 2nd album that you knew it wasn't going to last. That 2nd album is the one to buy (if you ask me).

Decent band, but like many people, I never could bring myself to take these guys seriously. I always saw them as Faith No More meets Weird Al Yankovich.

From: Fat Freddy Date: December 19, 2003 at 18:23
I saw these guys open for Scatterbrain (remember THEM?) in NYC in early 1992... had no idea who they were at the time, but I swear it couldn't have been more than a month or two later that "I Hate Everything About You" became a hit single and they were all over MTV and radio. At least I can say I saw'em on the way up. PS The two albums that followed this EP were way better.

A very unique debut, I like 'Whiplash Liquor' off this one! Good guitars in this band.

Not one of my favorites, I think this may have marked the beginning of the end of the hair bands...kinda paved the way for the rest of the shit to come.

Fat Freddy- you have no idea what i would have given to see that concert. I was a huge Scatterbrain fan and would have killed to see that concert. To the best of my knowledge that tour never came to Southern Wisconsin. I never saw these guys as a hair band- they totally looked like thrashers and never seemed to care less about their image. "Madman" was about dropping acid at Disneyland and going on a killing spree. Not exactly typical hair band lyrics. "Madman" was the best tune on here. 8/10

Fat Freddy, you by chance didn't get a Scatterbrain shirt at that show? I've been looking for the shirt that said "don't call me dude" on the back for over ten years. Can't even find one on EBAY.

excellent debut ep for UGLY KID JOE that made serious impact with the mega hit "everything about you" with the band offering a fresh updated 90 s sound with funny lyrics creating a somehow plesant easy vibe!loved it back in the day still sounds great
