Seriously if you dig any of the band's on this website check these guys out!! These guys wrote and sang the kind of songs we 'claim' all the classic pop-rock bands did. And there was NO better band at writing catchy sing-along choruses. This album was a more mature sound for these guys but still a winner in every way. Criminally underrated!!!

From: The Frost Date: April 23, 2002 at 10:48
Hay Tony you do know that these guys are actually these chicks, right?

From: Tony Date: May 2, 2002 at 20:04
By 'these guys' I was just implying 'these people' it just sounds bad in translation. Way to give me a heart attack though Frost, I was like 'Shit what the heck did I write man???'.

Precious Metal is a great female band from the end of the 80's-beginning of the 90's. Definitely criminally underrated ! If somebody can help me to get this one, please know you're more than welcome !!!!!!!

Decent but unspectacular female fronted rock of the Vixen or Private Life variety. 'Reckless' is a great song, and this CD could use a few more like it.

Sorry, guess I'm the bad guy here. I have to disagree with everyone. I thought this album sucked pretty bad. It was given to me at a radio station promo. I'm glad I didn't buy it. Smells like total corporate-poser sell-out music to me. I hated it. Sorry. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Ah, finally! I agree 100% with a song Koogles rates I seem to like a few same releases as the man in question, but always different songs it seems. But I must agree, 'Reckless' is by far the stand-out track here (Later covered by Two Fires under the title, 'Alyssia' was it? ) But anyway, this is an okay CD. I like 'Trouble' as well, and 'Two hearts' is pretty cool. I've had this about 5 times and always traded it for better, but kept a CDR because it is pretty good.

Ah yes, being a female fronted fan, I loved this one. The gals rock very similiarly to Vixen, No Shame and Phantom Blue. Some really good rockin' songs here. I loved "Mr. Big Stuff" and "Trouble".

Picked it up for cheap a couple years back.Although not really metal or my thing...this is decent for what it is.Way better than the overly dolled-up and overrated 'Vixen'.The best tune on there is 'Nasty Habits' and its easily better than anything Vixen ever did.Leslie the singer sounds tons better than Janet?? What the hell is her name?? Again, nothing spectacular here but one of the guitarists Janet Robin took lessons from "Randy Rhoads" so thats good enough for me.

Wonderful album by these chicks ...really good catchy songs..a mix of rock tunes with AOR ones(or at least that's the feeling of some of the them)...the album opens with a couple of fine tracks "Mr Big Stuff" & "Trouble" that lead to the AORishes "Two Hearts"(this one reminds me of Joan Jett type of stuff),"Thrilling Life" & the best song of the album IMHO "Reckless"...a song is "In The Mood" and "Chasing Rainbows" is a nice closing song...if you are into the likes of Vixen,Joan Jett,Femme Fatale,Annica and Alexa then Precious Metal is your band! .92/100

excellent album for PRECIOUS METAL back in 90 offering a solid commercial hard rock sound tha t i msure will dig all fans of female fronted bands!great songwriting and musicianship with a massive production and fine songs like "mr big stuff","trouble","forever tonight" and "downhill dreamer" but the rest of the stuff is also remarkable!highly recommended
