| Actually I came across Off The Edge, while looking for CD's of another South African band (Finch & Henson) on the web. And I am extremely glad I did ! South Africa has already come up with some very good Melodic Rock bands and Off The Edge surely is another one. The band was founded in the early 80's and is still active today with a number of released CD's. The vocals are fantastic, some of them female (different singers due to a few line-up changes). Another trademark are the great melodies and the excellent guitar work. The CD's look and sound superb, true for production, artwork and booklets. If you are interested I'd advise you to contact their guitarist Peter Hanmer (phanmer@mweb.co.za). Highly recommended !!
