Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Anybody in the Vancouver area looking for this out-of-print and hard to find gem can find it downtown at Granville and Nelson "Buy, Sell, Trade" CD Shop for CAD$10.50. This CD IS hard to find here. Great collection! I saw Lee Aaron perform at the Great Canadian Party in St. John's, Newfoundland, on July 1, 1992, and she put on an awesome live show. She's since dropped her image and sings jazz in the Vancouver area. |

Not too sure I would call her the "Metal Queen". The early metal tracks are pretty poor, while the latter aor tracks range from good (Powerline, Only Human) to downright terrible (Hands On, Nasty Boyz). 4/10 |

A typical poor choice of songs for a best of collection. With so many great LEE AARON songs, the complete best of her stuff is not showcased here, only a handful. But isn't that typical of greatest hit collections put out by the record companies, they always leave off something that should be included. |

*sabber* ![]() |
