This is a great hard rock album. I saw Lee tour this in England at the Reading Festival and she, and her band, were very tight and played a damn good set. Worth a listen and she has a great voice.

I love this album. Better then the albumes that came out after this one(but i still like LEE AARON from 1987). Together with the first album, a killer of a record. METAL QUEEN is a clasic song and also DECEIVER is increible, but the METAL QUEEN is still LEATHER from CHASTAIN or DORO with WARLOCK.

Absolutely great record. Basic in structure and lyrics, but that was common in 1984. Love Albani's mixing of cool riffs with basic hanging chords. Lee's vocals make me very "happy in pants." Oddly, I have to admit that my favorite song is "Head Above Water." Cool harmonies on the chorus.

"Metal Queen" is a very good 80s track...Aarons voice reminds me alot of Jutta from Zed Yago...

very formulaic album, which was typical of most of this genre in the mid 80's. Very capable band/vocalist who traded mainly on Lee's image. She was in one of a crop of female fronted bands doing the rounds and was on a par with the likes of Lita Ford without quite making it as big as Pat Benatar. The album although sounding very dated now is still very listenable. No real filler songs but then no songs that would have troubled the charts too much either. a solid undistinguished 80's rock album

If you take DIO, Def Leppard, a bit of proto-us-metal, you will have as a result the beautiful Metal Queen. A few bad songs (I hate Shake it Up) and a barrage of classic metal with female vocals.
