I have owned this album for many years , and still love it . Its raw , unpolished rock ,but thats part of its charm , and is a great debut album by any standards . Lots of great tunes . Probably my second favorite Lee AAron album , right behind Metal Queen .

I just found a Lee Aaron cd called Lee Aaron/Metal Queen Doubleheader from Attic records 1989. This is first time I heard her and was impressed. When I heard the opening track "Under Your Spell" I'm thinking "What a voice!" No glitz or glam here, just some mid-80's straight forward hard rock. Rough around the edges, but all the songs are great. I personally prefered Lee Aaron (1st half of the CD) to Metal Queen but I enjoy the songs on both. I read that she's singing Jazz in nightclubs now.

Frost is right, Lee Aaron posed for OUI magazine right around the time that Metal Queen was released.

The 1st LP was orig. released as The Lee Aaron Project (with one less track than what's pictured here) and she wasn't even pictured on the front of the sleeve. The OUI cover was also on a limited ed. pic disc that I last saw selling for $37 CAN., not sure when it was pressed.

I grew up with this music in the 80's and I know somewhere I got some Lee Aaron on vinyl. Never really at the forefront, she just got carried along with a popular wave of rock. Not really a bad singer or a bad album, just an average/passably good one for the time, very Lita Fordish. Poss because I was a big fan of Pat Benatar back then I compared most other artists to her unfavourably. A good workmanlike album, not dated as badly as some, powerful without any real bad tracks.

It's really too bad that Lee Aaron never made it big here in the states. This album is ahead of its time and has a very crunching and razor-sharp guitar sound. I have the vid for Under Your Spell; great video, her in leotards & a ripped top. Very good 80s metal!

Lee Aaron ist bis heute meine Lieblingssängerin.Verfolge ihren Weg nun seit knapp 20 Jahren.Diese Scheibe ist bei weitem nicht ihre beste Platte und der Sound ist auch ziemlich dated",aber Songs wie Texas Outlas, under your spell, night riders und runnin from his love, sollten eigentlich in keine Lee Aaron Sammlung fehlen ! 6\10
