Junto con el disco de 1987 fueron lo mejor que grabó Lee Aaron.Buen disco de AOR donde se entremezclan temas poperos con otros mas cañeros.BUEN DISCO.

Actually, compared to her other stuff, I found this one pretty weak (awesome album cover, though). Seems like she was trying for a lighter sound (with keyboards, etc.) but the mix & production are flimsy and the crunch of John Albani is nowhere to be found. I know I'll catch some guff for saying this, but hey, I'm a huge Lee Aaron fan -- I just think this is shakey compared to her other great stuff.

I had this one when I was kid. I don´t remember it well, but I remember that Beat ´Em Up was my favourite song. Damn this is hard to find from record store!

I also agree-this is an absolute cracker!! The version of Barely Holding On is very good but not quite as good as the original Silver Condor version that features Neal Schon.

Definitely the best LEE AARON cd from start to finish!!! Great Melodic Hard Rockin' tunes, very catchy stuff to rock to. PARADISE is one of the best songs she ever made!!! Let's not forget the cd only bonus track "CALL OF THE WILD" that only appears on the original Attic Records cd release, and NOT the reissue.

Very dated sound now (well it was the 80's) but at the time one of her better releases. Very melodic tracks, good musicianship and voice. No real fillers on here still not a patch on Pat Benatar but hey you can't have everything

rene - 'Line Of Fire' is on the CD (Track 7 after the bonus track 'Call Of The Wild'). Anyways, this is a good album especially 'Barely Holdin' On', 'Runnin' From The Fire' & 'Champion'. Not my fave Lee Aaron disc (that would go to the magnificent S/T '87 release & 'Body Rock' respectively) although this comes in a healthy third place.

Pretty good hard rockin' CD. Good vocals and guitar. The song "Paradise" starts out really good and then kind of falls short for me during the chorus. Chorus isn't strong enough (needs bigger vocals and melody). It's a shame because that song could have been really good. But she makes up for it with the other songs. You should like it if you like 80's hard rock............plus she looks sexy on the cover and back!

Very good melodic hard rock album by the "Queen" of Canada!!!.Powerful yet melodic songs with attitude that many girl bands such as Vixen adopted at that time."Champion"(excellent song that could have easily been included as a main song in a Rocky Balboa movie!!!),"Burnin' Love","Danger Zone"(another killer track)"Barely Holding On"(beautiful ballad)...well to be honest i think this is her finest album so far (talking about the time she was a rocker, nowadays she plays jazz or blues). So try to get hold of this record and enjoy the times when rock was a 100% enjoyable...the 80's!!!.90/100

The first attempt for Lee Aaron to move towards a more polished sound is a great personal cult.
