38 Special being my favorite band i had to have this although i had almost every song on it, most were on cassete. very good anthology but my question is where are the songs I Fall Back and The Squeeze? I know they were only a single and b-side but still are better than some on here and being so hard to find, I really wanted to see them on one of these disc. but they did include Prisoners Of Rock N Roll |

The best .38 compilation avaliable, especially to those wanting to sample some of the bands best work. For the rest of us we get great sounding remasters of (mostly) all their best bits, plus the added bonus of the hard to get 'Prisoners Of Love' b'side. I could have done with a few more bonuses for us die hards, a 3 disc box set with loads of extras would have been cool(I have some very excellent live shows that i'm sure someone else has to use). Little gripes aside,a very excellent compilation. |

After watching Revenge Of the Nerds 2 and listening to Back to Paradise, I was tempted to buy this and I haven't regretted it. There is literally not ONE bad song on this. Even though have other albums by this band, this is one I KEEP going back to. Brilliant tracks, brilliant selection from all three singers. If you want to get into 38 special, you will NOT be disappointed with this. I only got it for one song and I ended up with two CDs of classics! 95/100 |
