2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Voodoo Vegas are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| Its been a few years since I first saw VV live and have been waiting for their debut album ever since. I expected the album to be pretty decent, but what I ended up with was something that far exceeded my expectations. There are a few 70s Aerosmith inspired touches here and there, and at times Lawrence reminds me vocally of Jason McMaster or Axl Rose when he sings in the lower registers, but at no point do they sound like copyists of any of those related bands. Overall its a corker of a rocker and should sit happily in any rock fan who loves 70s and 80s rock and hair metals collection. Its apparently available for general public release early in 2013 as only those who pledged currently own it.
