|Good one, better than their previous releases. But still not at their peak of the first releases !

|As AOR Freaky states, this disc is superior to Firehouse's releases from the last few years, but not QUITE in the same league as their debut, and follow-up efforts.Still, if you've ever been a fan of the group, I'd say you'll enjoy this disc. "Perfect Lie" (which has a STRONG resemblance to "All She Wrote" ),and "Body Language" are my faves, but I found the entire disc quite enjoyable. Well worth grabbing in my opinion.

|Guitarist, Bill Leverty, has his 1st solo album ready. There are sound clips on "The Tunes" page at www.wanderlustband.com. More info on his other site at www.leverty.com. The clips sound great. Can't wait to hear the whole disc.

|Amazing album, a much better release then the band's 2000 disc O2. Prime Time is more a step in the direction of their self titled debut and Hold Your Fire and in my opinion is their best release in 10 years. You can never beat the album(s) that made you famous but Firehouse prove they can still rock with the best of them and they are not afraid to show it. Recommended to all fans of Firehouse or anyone who likes guitar driven straight forward rock 'n roll.

|What a great revival the band has given themselves. Absolute stunning cd. Modern approach yet always Firehouse written all over the songs. This has to appeal to all old and young rock fans out there. So an absolute must have for Firehouse fans and a perfect try for the new fans to get to know these guys. Harkens back to the glory days. Excellent.

|This is what Category 5 should have sounded like. Unfortunately it took the band over 10 years to figure that out. But they have done just that with Prime Time. As the above comments state they do return to their roots, and no it's not as good as their first 2 releases but it does have that classic Firehouse vibe that you would expect them to be making and not this mellow college pop they had put out on their previous 2 albums. Quite enjoyable, I give it a 7.8/10. Keep it up guys!

|It's really their best album... No bad songs on it. GREAT!!! (I think the Let go is the best ballad of the band)

|Easily their best CD since 'Hold you fire', this is a good one. I wish CJ was on vocals for all tracks and I'd have liked a few more gems, but for me 'Perfect lie' is just one of the best songs they ever recorded and well worth this whole affair alone. This is a good solid CD though.
||Date: September 6, 2004 at 0:34|
|I agree that Perfect Lie is one of their best songs that they have recorded. I feel that the debut and Hold Your Fire are better albums but for the 2000's this is a stellar release. I have met the band several times and all class acts. Door to Door is a great song. NASCAR fans will rejoice when they hear it! Bill Leverty and CJ Snare are true professionals. Keep making this type of music guys! Recommended!

|love the cd it rocks just dont care for the songs sung by the guitar an drummer really it takes away from the cd when cj should be singing more songs but all in all the cd rocks hard except 3 songs by leevrty , an foster they need to stick to guitar an drums or just do solo stuff but not on firehouse

|I think that the band turned a corner on O2 and stopped the rot that was setting in right there and then. This is the fruit of the seeds that were planted with the O2 release. This album really rocks and has some immense songs on especially Perfect Lie with it's kicking riff and twiddly keyboard bits in the background, whilst the title track has a kind of Aerosmith sass. The more I listen to it the more I enjoy it. A return to form IMHO.

|Good and solid album. Like the song "Holding on" which features Leverty singing and the man can sing!

|This is not good at all. It is all too heavy. Firehouse should make more Power ballads like in the old days, instead for heavy music. It sound very modern rock style in my opinion. If you like Firehouse in the good old days, then don't spend your money on this CRAP!!!

|a ver.. "prime time" como primer tema, toques "modernos", paso. 7/10

|Damn fine hard rock release. Who cares if its as good as their first 2 releases. They came out a long time ago. If you're into hard rock this is a definite buy....

|"Perfect Lie". All you need to know. Great lyrics & a killer tune.

|While not matching the tremendously high quality of their first pair of albums, the band once again found their fire--and their balls--with this release, trading in the mellow for the muscular. The only real misstep here was allowing other band members to sing some of the tracks; when you have one of the best and most easily recognizeable hard rock/metal vocalists fronting your group, why would you let anyone else near the microphone? Leverty shouldn't be permitted to sing in the shower at his own house, let alone on a Firehouse CD (actually, he's not THAT bad, but he's certainly no CJ Snare). Anyway, the band is long past their prime by now, but at least this time they brought the rock.

|They've probably watched most of their contemporaries try--and fail--to release new music that actually captures folks' attention. To go through all the work of making a new album just to have it barely make a ripple, either in sales or in the minds of the fans, I guess they, like a lot of others, have decided to just be a nostalgia act anymore, playing the hits at casinos and state fairs.
