If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Firehouse CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Firehouse are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Saw the title in the "newest additions" list and fo ra minute got hopeful for a new Firehouse album, since I really liked Prime Time, thought they were headed in the right direction. Now what is this bullshit?

Must be one of those deals like Dokken's last one, "Let's re-record our hits so that we have the rights and can sell them to whoever wants to use them in commercials or whatever." PASS!

Check out C.J. Snare's new band, Rubicon Cross http://www.rubiconcross.net/

so here's the deal: must like DOkken's Greatest Hits 2, this is Firehouse re-recording some of their biggest hits and concert staples, primarily to regain the rights to that music, to sell for commercials or whatever. (Supposedly, fans were also bugging them about where they could buy their greatest hits, but I don't believe that, as there are any number of compilations from this band.) So right off, you know this release is unnecessary. But it ain't too bad. Very much UNLIKE Dokken, C.J. Snare is still in fine voice. I think these songs may be played a half-step lower than originally, but that's not a big deal, as, for the most part, the guy just sounds flat-out great, if a bit nasal. Other than that, the songs are faithful to the originals, with only slight alterations here and there, mainly a lot of squealy pinch-harmonics from Bill Leverty. I gave it a 50, because even if the band do right by the tunes, there just isn't much point to owning the disc.

I'll add that I saw these guys in 2005, and they sound just as good live as on record. They catch a lot of shit, some of it unfair, some of it deserved, but they're a very classy, professional outfit with loads of melodic sense, even if nothing they've done has lived up to the first two albums (Prime Time was a real nice try, though).

Nothing new under the stars but some re-recording of the band's songs(some of them major hits back in their days)..."Shake & Tumble" & "Christmas With You" are fine to me...85/100(really because of what some of these songs meant to us the rockers in the past)...

Saw these guys last night at a small gig in Colorado. A pretty straight forward show, Snare's vocals were surpringly strong, Leverty still has that cool vibe about him, Foster was rowdy on the drums, and bassist McKenzie sang lead on a good rendition of Highway to Hell. An enjoyable 90 minutes.
