Good Hi-Tech AOR/Pop! "Take a Trip, This Love, You're the Winner & Without a Meaning" best tracks IMO, 80/100. |

More Pop than Rock in my opinion, reminding me of artists like Prince. Some New Wave influence as well. Bit underproduced too. Is This Love is probably the most decent tune, but the rest is under average. Rating: 6/10. Favorite Track: Is This Love. |

Good West Coast/Hi-Tech Aor by a band who released two pure West Coast albums previously, all worthwhile for fans who like that genre. |

Channel 5's self-titled CD (released as "Twilight" on iTunes and Spotify) is a westcoast album disguised as a pop record. There are some hi-tech excursions that justify labeling it otherwise - "Why" sounds like a Michael Jackson B-side and "This Love" is a radio-friendly single with a chugging pace - but overall, you're in for soft rock with plenty of keys and saxophone. "Take a Trip" has a mildly memorable chorus and "Hybrid Eyes" is about as 80s as it gets, but for the most part, this CD will put anyone who's not a westcoast fan to sleep. |
