Sep. 6, 2025: Update: Temporary Message Board ClosureUpdate: Board ourage has been delayed due to consultant's schedule. Outage TBD. The company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

This is just about as good as hard rock gets. Track after track is a gem but in particular Black Day, Examine and Heroes are simply awesome. Michael Voss is amassing a fine back-catalogue so if you like Treat, Bonfire, earlier Dokken, Crown of Thorns etc. then his stuff is well worth the search. |

Great melodic hard rock cd all around. Worth it for the title track alone. I notice that the lead singer's name is Michael, but it sounds an awful lot like a chick on vocals. Nonetheless, still a great cd. |

Awesome melodic rock. Heroes, Star and the awesome Stranded are an excellent opening trio. the rest is just superb |

Great album, but are you sure that this is not a chick on vocals? |

Jeez, they couldn't have returned in a much better fashion that this one. Another killer collection of overly consistent melodic hard rock done at it's finest. If you can find it, buy it. A simple equation and must for all fans of quality melodic rock. Apart from 'Examine', every single track is EXCELLENT! 9.5/10 |

Quality to quote a certain Brit musicmeister. You know who you are Wotsworth. |
From: metalmaniac777 | Date: February 19, 2006 at 20:11 |
While it's not quite up to the high-quality standards established by their first two studio albums, this is still a worthy comeback that should be loved by just about any melodic hard rocker. Michael Voss still sings like a god, the hooks are still tight & sharp, and the choruses are still very catchy...what more could you ask for? If you know a melodic hard rock fan who doesn't happen to have this CD in their collection, pick them up a copy and I guarantee you'll be a hero in their book. |

Well, tastes differ here. Average Hardrock for me. Some good songs but average as a whole. If you like Fair warning then you'll like this one. 7.5/10 |
