JC has done a ton of great stuff, but having given this a spin a couple of times I would say this has to be his best so far. The sound has been updated somewhat - but no fear all the great keyboards and soaring harmonies are still in abundance. Parts of it even hark back to his old band Jasper Wrath especially parts of the fantastic track Somewhere Beyond the Sun. Life 101 and 4:17 (California) are immediate faves. French (kinda trancy feel)and Kali Allah (reprise) almost have an Ozrics leaning. |

A very strong release & one I prefer over the 'Tamorok' CD from a few years back (although that was a strong album in itself). This is nice collection, taking in most aspects of JC's varied career so far. The 2 Arcangel re-workings,'Wanted: Dead Or Alive' & 'King Of The Mountain' are great aswell. 'Spirit Of The Four Winds' & 'Kalli Allah' are my standouts so far, but there are alot of very strong tracks on this one. An album I didn't know was in the pipeline and a VERY nice surprise indeed. |

Always at the border of progressive and the aor, this new album is excellent, fills of environments and so particular atmospheres. Highly recommended for the fans of AOR and prog. |

Great album that borders AOR and Prog like Faust said. My standouts are "Tears Of America", "Promise You Heaven" and "Alli Allah". Great album that deserves a spin in your CD player. Nice surprise indeed... |
