|David releases the best material of his later career here the melody is at the forefront the voice of the highest order and Kronlund tears it up, the two make the perfect partnership. If I wanted to be brutal I'd say there's maybe too many a ballad but having said that each are of the highest order brushing this painting with some real maturity. So ya get four blasters each of the highest order in the wonderful ode to On Target in My Angel Wears White (a Denander co-write) the magnificence of Samurai with its beautiful chorus and melodies, the fist pumping Animals And Cannibals, and blistering finale of The Dead Shall Walk The Earth. Couple bump and grinds in Paint The Mirror Black and Magic Puddin both respectfully nodding back to the best of the hair era, a nice groover in Edge Of Heaven rounded out by the rest. Gotta hand it to the man, to be releasing this quality now is staggering, I'm a 9 but add a point for the A1 booklet, this gets a 9.5 I mean it's worth quality worth ya coin!
