Very Good Melodic Hard Rock, "Line of Fire, Children of the Revolution & Love Dies Hard" fav tracks, 85/100. |

"Line of Fire" is an enjoyable if unspectacular 10-track ride into 80's metal memory lane, well produced and well played by all involved, and one can only thank Avenue of Allies for picking this up and making it available to the masses. On this release, the band worked with Stephen Galfas (Meat Loaf, Savatage, John Waite) and producers Jody Gray and Mark Cobrin, known for their work with (among others) cult japanese hard rockers Loudness. Style- and soundwise "Line of Fire" isn't a million miles removed from what their japanese collegues did at the same time, which probably isn't a coincidence considering Gray and Cobrin's involvement. For those familiar with french 80's rockers Fisc, they are another valid comparisation. |

Pretty good release of typical 80's hard rock that has some decent songs, namely "Line of fire" (which reminded me a little of Danger Danger), "Fingers" & "State of the heart". However they saved the best song til last with "Love dies hard". There are a couple of fillers & how many times do we have to hear someone cover "Children of the revolution" even if theirs is one of the better attempts. |

Decent album IMHO...no more than that..."Line Of Fire" & "Children Of The Revolution" seen to be "the best ones" also "Hardline","The Hunger"(rocks!)& "Love Dies Hard" give some benefit to DZ's cause...the vocals are quite good on the record but live could be a little bit burnt...80/100 |
