| 'The Child Within' is less of a heavy rock album, and is more in keeping with the likes of Brett Walker, Tim Feehan and Alias - playing a style of the classiest melodic AOR out there. It definitely has a lighter feel about it, and is commercial and radio playable.

| I have the Japanese release of this album titled "Higher Than Angels" with 4 different songs.Always considered it his best release although his latest "Shine" is also excellent and a return to form after the disappointing "Language Of Love".

| Certainly a patchy record, but on the other hand features some of Stan's finest songs. Never Wanted To Fall, The Price Of Love and the Robin Beck duet Till I Was Loved By You are superb tracks, which could have easily appeared on Brett Walker's Nevertheless record. Worth buying.

| Su disco mas tranquilo del gran STAN BUSH sin lugar a dudas. No me parece del todo malo pero es cierto que no salió como se hubiera querido, es decir un clásico. Mis favoritas son: "Never Wanted To Fall" "The Price Of Love" "If We Ever" Y "Capture The Dream". La producción está mejor que en su segundo y tercer disco además de lo genial que canta y compone este maestro del AOR. 8.5./10

| Vaya discazo!!!...aunque para mucha de las personas que comentan este disco,les parece un tanto "light" mas mismo asi no deja de dejar ese gran"sabor de boca" que solo Stan nos puede dar en cada una de sus producciones.En general nombra temas es lo mas comun y siempre lo hago pero en esta oportunidad solo voy a hacer mencion en una sola pieza..."The Child Within"...vaya balada (o semi-balada,como prefieran describirla),imponente y sensible con ese coro 100% pegadizo...solo por esa cancion vale l

Ok my comment in english...an album packed basically with mid tempos and ballads but quite worth it...the "master" Stan Bush once again delivering heartful songs  ..."The Price Of Love","Say A Little Prayer","The Child Within"(beautiful),"If We Ever" & "Capture The Dream"(outstanding track used in the Olympic Games for the American Team,Atlanta 1996)are top notch ones surely...fine release indeed!.87/100
