Why has this album been given such a poor rating? It's pure class - sure the production is a bit shoddy but hey, he doesn't exactly have the resources of EMI or Sony does he? Promises and Didn't I are just superb examples of melodic rock at its best. Stan Bush is my hero!!

This album is a collection of unreleased songs, both new and previous, but re-mastered and compiled with the proper flow of a rock album in mind. There is something for everyone on Heaven. From the lush ballads Stan is famous for, to the mid paced AOR anthems that no one does better, to some distinctly harder rocking stuff - which I think may just be the heaviest I have heard Stan sing.

This is a good, solid AOR disc. Most the songs go down quite well, and there are a few we've heard before, but I'd recommend this for any melodic rock / AOR fan. Good stuff.

"Didn't I", "Heaven", "Cross that Line" and "Dreamin' are pure AOR!!! Listen this CD and you love it!!! Stan Bush sings very well. To me, he is one of the best singers of the world (also includes Stan Meisser, Peter Fredette, Morten Harket, Jimi Jamison, John Wetton, Benny Mardones and others). "Didn't I", "Heaven" and "Dreamin'" are the best of this CD!!! Stan Bush and AOR forever!!!

From: Melodiker Date: July 31, 2006 at 13:23

From: juan carlos Date: October 16, 2007 at 17:05
Excelente AOR/MR! 8.7/10

Is pretty hard 2 find a bad album recorded by this wonderful artist but the production was not as good as other releases... ...anyway about the songs, yes, great ones being "Hard To Find An Easy Way","Cross That Line"(catchy),"Beginners Luck"(nice softy),"Heaven" & "Promises" my favourites...enjoyable as usual if we are talking about Stan's music creations ...88/100
