The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Lionville CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. In a time of incredibly over rated melodic rock music releases it is refreshing to actually hear a release that is worthy of a good rating and good review. Lionville's second release blows the likes of Pride Of Lions completely out of the water. In fact hearing this makes me realise just how ordinary the aforementioned POL really are. The whole release is very good AOR with great vocals and harmonies. No real fillers for me on this album, just a real good AOR release thats pleasant on the ears. On a par with the bands first album. Oh and check out the cover of the old 80's pop classic 'waiting for a star to fall', great stuff and given a new lease of life here. Good stuff. |

Not as good as the band's self titled one IMO...still the album smokes and delivers some fine moments, especially in the last songs..."One In A Million","Shining Over Me" & "Open Your Heart"(wonderful mid tempo) are surely highlights and solid contenders of the release...tracks 1(nice),2(nice),5(nice mid tempo),7 & 9 are also splendid ones..."Waiting For A Star To Fall" is a nice try to cover an 80's "hit" originally composed and performed by the pop duet Boy Meets Girl...Lars Sasfund singing fantastically as usual...enjoyable release at the end,but never better than the first...87/100 |
