Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

First comment...ummm...well...i've never been a lover of Julian's voice to be honest...it has a particular way of singing that still does not convince me at all and that makes the songs sound a bit weak...if i have to mention goodie ones,i'd go for "Showdown","Ride With The Wild One","Tokyo Nights"(catchy),"Rock All Arenas(Born To Rock)" & "Wild Tonight"(also catchy)...Hard Rock with AOR added if you want a reference...81/100 |

A little bit cheesy, a little bit corny but bloody good all the same. Do you like 80's Hard rock and AOR?. Buy this then. |

3rd comment ummmm... THIS ALBUM IS FLIPPIN' SWEET! Julian Angel is just simply amazing. I don't think he could do anything wrong. Choreography Sucks=Brilliant. Beautiful Beast=Stellar. This album is chock full of some of the best playing/tunes of 2011. Buy now and you will thank me. And then thank Julian for putting the rock back in rock n roll! Excellent job Julian now get busy on the follow up would ya. ![]() |

First "Beast" album, still has a bit more AOR in it. Catchy songs, wild guitar solos - must have ![]() |
