2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

| Not a bad EP, although not an outstanding one either. It demonstrates that the band shows great promise; the girls seem like capable players and have a great look. They sound somewhat '80s girl band-ish, like a harder-edged Bangles with a modern sensibility. Unfortunately, production values drop off significantly after the first three tunes, making for an uneven and unprofessional sounding disc. "Breakdown" is the standout tune -- if the entire album could be of the same quality as that song, it would be killer. Hopefully they'll release a full-length disc that captures that sound throughout.
