Temporary Message Board Closure
The company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that
would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling
to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different
platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content
(posts, user profiles, etc.).
However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere
from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated.
While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some
long-term savings.
The current message board will be closed down at some point this
Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are
reading this), will NOT be affected.

| This is an interesting band that formed around 1989 & became popular due to their music being heard on commercials for a woman's (Sue Palmari) guitar shop ("Thunder guitars") & tattoo parlor ("Susie's Stash). The commercials were formatted like music videos & were played on Fox, CBS, NBC, & MTV as well as Z-Rock radio + others. The band would record this material (unknown in what original format if any) with this being issued on CD for the first time here. Their music would be played on radio from Florida to New York to Illinois with a style that combined influences of "Mean Streak"-era Y&T, AIRRACE, DANGER DANGER, CONEY HATCH, & CINDERELLA. There was both potential & improvements to be made although the music packed a nice punch with heavy guitars. The vocals were higher-ranged and ever so slightly out of tune on occasion (but decent). They split up around 1992 with some of the members playing with the Las Vegas act SEVIN. The music here grows on you after more than one listen.

| I've read incorrect information that this band originated from Tennessee when they were actually from Michigan.
