If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Klimax CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Klimax are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This is an interesting band that formed around 1989 & became popular due to their music being heard on commercials for a woman's (Sue Palmari) guitar shop ("Thunder guitars") & tattoo parlor ("Susie's Stash). The commercials were formatted like music videos & were played on Fox, CBS, NBC, & MTV as well as Z-Rock radio + others. The band would record this material (unknown in what original format if any) with this being issued on CD for the first time here. Their music would be played on radio from Florida to New York to Illinois with a style that combined influences of "Mean Streak"-era Y&T, AIRRACE, DANGER DANGER, CONEY HATCH, & CINDERELLA. There was both potential & improvements to be made although the music packed a nice punch with heavy guitars. The vocals were higher-ranged and ever so slightly out of tune on occasion (but decent). They split up around 1992 with some of the members playing with the Las Vegas act SEVIN. The music here grows on you after more than one listen.

I've read incorrect information that this band originated from Tennessee when they were actually from Michigan.
